Everything was great! The food was tasty, staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean surrounded by a beautifull garden. The only downside was that our standard room was located in a long tiled corridor leading to another 30 rooms, which resulted in a lot of noise even at night. We were woken up manytimes by arriving guests, and the opening and closing of doors. I would recommend placing a carpet in the corridor to at least partially dampen the sound, including the noise from suitcase wheels rattling on the tiles. If you are a coffee lover, you will be disappointed. The machines only offer instant coffee - but at least we had a 7-day coffee detox :) It I think this hotel, due to its very calm atmosphere, is suitable for families or older couples, but not for young people who could find it boring. For us - family with little kids it was great.

The hotel its self is very clean and pleasant. The Rooms can be hit and miss depending on what rooms you have, some of them are the refurbished rooms which is what me and partner stayed in and were very nice and clean. However speaking to other English couples they had the older out dated rooms that were not so good showers leaking , aircon playing up etc. The food is the biggest disappointment if your fussy like myself you will struggle to eat. But in saying that my partner who eats most things still struggled. The food was basically like a site canteen limited and always either ran out or by the time you get to what you want to eat it’s cold. There isn’t anything for the kids either. There is no entertainment during the day around the pool or at night. They had one Greek night in the evening but other than that nothing. However there is a ping pong table and 2 pool tables the pool tables cost 2 euros and the ping pong you can get for free you just need to ask reception. If you go to the beach you will have to pay for your sunbeds and also there is no hotel bar so if you want a drink or something to eat unfortunately you will have to pay as there is no hotel bar. The hotel has one bar. They state that there is a pool bar but it’s the same bar where you go to get your drinks in the evening, they say there are 2 bars but it’s one bar where you can get served each side. As you can imagine in the evenings you are queuing to get a drink and the all inclusive bar shuts at 11pm. After that you have to pay for drinks.

Turned up and swipe card for the room wouldn’t work so ended up getting a key for the room. Looked for an iron as clothes were creased but no iron so hung clothes in bathroom hoping steam from shower would get creases out. Couldn’t work air con on first day so went to reception and they said door had to be locked before it would work but no signs to explain this. No entertainment day or night only a Greek night one a week which they only put up a notice on the actual day they are doing it which is short notice and not worth the effort. All inclusive doesn’t include cocktails or spirits until 18:00. Food extremely limited options and very repetitive always has spaghetti bolognese and chips available both lunch and dinner if that’s what you like. Sun beds very old and breaking so have to be very careful. No pool bar the only bar is in the main building so it’s a trek for a drink. Only positive is that’s it’s clean, the place is still being renovated at the moment so things may improve.

Not even a 3 star the food it’s all the same for lunch and dinner and only 3 hot choices we paid for a upgrade on the room due to being a wheelchair user the lift is not big enough so was down graded when I booked we said a family room as we have a 11 month old baby. I was then told I need to pay 35 euros for a cot that is damaged already and then the staff wanted us is sign a waver so we get the cot for free due to are room being downgraded. The bath is broken the phone cable is hanging out the wall so not even safe.

I would rate this hotel between 3 & 4*. To address some of the more negative comments of earlier reviewers - the food is a bit ‘canteen ish’ but we always found something acceptable. The salad bar is good, there is always pasta available and meats with an obvious Greek slant. There is always ice cream available, a selection of cakes and pastries and melon. Previous reviewers mention dirty swimming pools. There are 2 small and 2 large, one with jacuzzi. During our trip they were spotless. There were always plenty of sun beds available in all areas. Our room was clean and modern with effective aircon. Fridge but no mini bar. Cleaned daily. Beds were not too hard for us. We appeared to be the only English couple there during our visit. 99% of the customers were German and the vast majority, smokers. If you have any aversion to tobacco smoke, this place isn’t for you. (Not allowed in restaurant of course). Mostly German channels on the room tvs. Wi-fi signal when available at all is weak and patchy. The staff work very hard and service in the restaurant is efficient. All inclusive drinks are the norm. Local beers and spirits, not too strong. Queues at the bar can be long at times but wine and beer are help yourselves. Max 2 barmen on at any one time for hundreds of customers. The village is about a 10 min walk. A longish ***** with many bars and restaurants if you fancy a bit of a fancier meal. Buses to Kos town stop just outside the hotel hourly. The sandy beach stretches for miles and is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. It gently shelves to the sea and and you can stand up a good 60/70 yards out. It’s never impossible to get a sunbed, there are hundreds. 10 euros for 2. There is only entertainment in the hotel one night per week. ‘Greek Night’. A bouzouki is OK for about 10 minutes but after 2 hours it loses its’ appeal a bit. They didn’t know Pump Up The Jam - I asked. BTW we booked with Love Holidays. Apart from being given a piece of paper on arrival saying our rep was Robert and he would be welcoming us on ….(left blank), they were non-existent. No English info in resort whatsoever. Wouldn’t recommend. In summary, we didn’t need a great deal from our holiday and this had everything we did need for a relaxing week. Good value for what we paid.

Let me start with the room, it was good but the pillows and the blankets needs to be improved. Lady cleaners were nice and accomodating. The pools were big but needs to be maintained or cleaned regularly. My son said he saw lots of dirts and breads in the pool, when he was swimming with his swim goggles under the water, that's why we decided to swim always at the beach. Food buffet was great, too many to choose from, also drinks were overflowing :) Waiters, waitresses and the man who receives the guests at the door were polite and friendly. Entertainment for children or like animations is missing, they don't have activities for children. There is a tennis court but maybe a football field is a good idea since kids like to play football. Commendation to the lady receptionist named Ioanna/Joanna, she was so friendly, and helpful. The other receptionist named L-s-a, she needs more practice on how to be a nice receptionist. She was so unfriendly and rude when I had an inquiry. The beach is just a walking distance, there are sunbeds available that you can pay 10Euros for the whole day. The bus stop is just right at the entrance of the hotel. The bus goes to Kos, City and the trip schedule is posted. The Tigaki square is also just walking distance, too many restaurants to choose from. Overall it was a worth it family summer vacation.

Hotel is spotless, room had mod cons, air con, Smart TV, brilliant shower, many plug sockets, anti bug door to balcony (3 chairs, table & washing line). Internet intermittent but good in reception. Towels changed daily, bedding twice during our one week stay. Two massive pools, jacuzzi & toddlers pool all set in wonderful oasis, no restrictions! Pool towels 10 euro per ROOM. Soft drinks, wine, beer until 6pm served in glasses/plastic beakers. Food was fine, mostly Greek and always hot & regularly checked/replaced/areas spotless. All staff in all areas friendly, helpful and attentive especially reception. Location brilliant for beach (sunbeds 10 euro). About one foot of gravel/pebbles into sea. Bus to/from Kos every 90 mins for 2.10 euro pp each way. (bus to return is packed so queue 15 mins early!) Trips best purchased in Tagiki, more choice and cheaper than hotel (only few minutes walk from hotel). Only gripes would be People smoking everywhere (not in restaurant) and although all areas were open (my husband smokes cigars) it was over powering. A seperate area (without being excluded) would be lovely. Kettle in room altho you can hire. Music by one of the pools. Lovely hotel and would return.

Staff helpful, rooms clean and cleaned daily, food very good, ambience relaxed and comfortable, pools accessible to all and clean, good location to the beach and bus service on time into Kos itself. You got what you pay for and a little bit more. Will come again in the not so distant future.

Would not recommend Tigaki Beach Hotel - receptionist is so rude. They had no record of our booking on arrival and were so dismissive. When I produced my printed confirmation they found us a room eventually. This female receptionist was rude any time I asked for something - which was twice more only. They are not prepared to help out in any way and were a huge negative of our holiday. Hotel is ok food is basic at best.

First, let’s the negatives sorted. The wifi is an unsecured network and patchy. Internet is available but limited on 5G depending on what part of the hotel you’re in. That’s it. Everything else was great. The standard and variety of food was spot on, considering there was approx 600 guests. The salads were exceptional and the food mostly Mediterranean. We were all inclusive and drinks unlimited until 11pm which seemed fair. Cocktails are also included and I recommend the Tigachi Special. Staff were plentiful, friendly and very efficient. The hotel was spotless and rooms serviced daily. No toileteries are provided but there is a small shop for essentials. There are 2 large pools, fresh showers and a paddling pool. There is a refreshing lack of warning signs telling you not to do this, that or the other. Guests could use inflatable toys and other water gadgets. There are ample sunbeds and nobody is allowed to ‘pre-book’ by placing towels first thing. The hotel is set back from the main road but only a 10min walk to the main street and beach. There is no set entertainment but they have a weekly Greek night with dancing, singing and bouzouki player. Kos is a small island and Kos town is a 20min bus ride away for 2.10 Euros. There are plenty of boat trips to the other islands and other day trips. The hotel can organise them for you but it’s cheaper to do it in Tigachi. Yes, it’s full of Germans but that’s like saying avoid Greece because it’s full of Greeks. We didn’t come for English entertainment or culture. We saw no evidence of stereotypical behaviour and English is widely spoken. We did not feel at all isolated or that we were given less priority. Quite the opposite infact. Learn a few phrases and life is much easier. The only ****** was that that smoking was widespread in the bar area. There is plenty of ventilation but smoke was ever present and became unpleasant after a few hours. We did not see it anywhere else however. All in all, highly enjoyable and quality food and accomodation. We would definitely come again.

Firstly do not book with love holidays because they messed up our dates and made us pay £400 more. We then arrived and they made us pay 30 euros for a safe and accommodation tax which was another 30 euros, the room was full of ants and they do not have double beds it’s just single beds. We was also promised the new refurbished rooms but did not get that either. The food is nice but could have a bigger selection of different things, it says all inclusive which includes drinks (which were not nice) however we got told off for ordering another drink too quickly after 40 mins of finishing our first drink, the hotel is full of Germans who got prioritised a lot more than us. There is no entertainment so it is very quiet at the hotel so I would advise to go out in Tigaki town. It also says there is a gym, however there is no gym in this hotel and the wifi is also very bad, i’ve had to use peoples hot spot due to the poor wifi. The beach that is meant to be included is not free! They made us pay to use the sunbeds there. The hotel staff could’ve been much more friendlier. We also asked for a late check out and they was charging us 70 euros for a few more hours. They also made us pay another accommodation fee at the end of our stay which was 22 euros. On the other hand me and my partner stayed positive and tried to enjoy yourselves as much as possible.

Kind and helpful Stuff. Nice Food. Could be more variety and more Greek. Clean rooms and pool area. Beautiful beach and environment. One negative: one way plastic glasses while no selective collection !!!!! Especially at the see it should be more important!!

Disappointed by the All-inclusive service, no entertainment during the day or evening. Local alcohol only from 6:00 p.m. Restaurant level, school canteen, very average. Speaking English is a plus, no effort on their part. Fortunately, nearby is the friendly street with shops and bars, something to brighten up your evenings.

The Tigaki is a mid-range hotel. Food wasn't particularly good, better go to the many restaurants outside and only book breakfast. Breakfast coffee cruel and fruit juices likewise. Buffet in the morning was ok but always the same. The pool was obviously always crowded, but we always went to the beach. Entertainment aimed at the German colleagues who all clapped in time, cruel. Got to sleep, but that's all.
