Our travel agent booked us this hotel for the night. The hotel looks relatively new and the room shows no signs of shabby. We were fortunate to stay in the ”privileged room”: very spacious with all kinds of modern equipment, including a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, safe room and mini bar. The bed was big and comfortable. The only thing that was dragging the hotel's location was to take 35 ringgit to the lakeside or the main city. The property is clearly located in an industrial area, and it is more suitable for visiting business executives than travelers.

Luby host is a the best host in the world! She was so kind and always responded my question. The swimming pool is really nice. However we are not used to smell of room. And we heard noisy motorcycle sound during the all night. Location is perfect and restaurant near by are all expensive. However, Artsy coffee was so nice! Thanks for all hosting Luby!

I have never stayed as good as 5 stars hotel such this Hyatt Regency in KK. Starting from reception, buttler, and front desk- all are so good in order. The receptionist who check me in was very helpful. The room perfect. Hot water is good, room is very spacefull and stunning. The decorations are just perfect, migh be Merry Chritsmas is coming. Just next time, maybe i will stay sea view. Better as have great view of KK ocean view.

The hotel staff from the beginning of the booking has done a great and wonderful job.. they help me with contacting the driver to help me with a really late pick up at the airport.. the driver also such a great man.. kudos to him waiting for me until late hours.. the staff of the hotel all done such a great job.. even their house keeping lady is such a sweetheart.. i have such a pleasant stay there and will definitely go back if i ever went back to kk.. good job all 🫰🏻

This hotel totally awesome place to stay with friendly front desk staff, comfortable bed to rest, nice amenities to use while staying, delicious breakfast with various menu to choose. But it is nicer if check in progress can be shorterned. Waiting time for check in process a bit long compared to other nice hotel. But good thing is, safety deposit is not mandatory here compared to other hotel in KK.

Water pressure low, and you will find that you have to take more time to shower. The tap for morning routine like brushing teeth and washing face cannot be used because the water pressure too low. When I complain but no further action taken by the management.
Additionally, they need RM50 for one time room service as they said they are not hotel. Sounds weird, I was staying for 3 nights but cannot change my towel, cannot call for cleaning my room and the coffee sachets only supply for one day ……

it was a beautiful spot to see the sunset. Unfortunately during our stay the weather was not so great, we couldn't see the famous sunset. The breakfast was great and room was great. I will visit here If I am ever in town again. I love the swimming pool. The package was somewhat useful but can be better. The only complaint I have is the snorkeling aera. The hotel room which I stayed was very confortable, with wide space, big bed, clean bedsheets and near to eating places and also near to the airport. Initially I was afraid the noise from the airplanes may disturb my sleep as my room was facing on the left side of the building, but to my surprise I did not hear planes flying so I was happy that I didn't experience any noise to disturb my tranquility. The only con is there is no restaurant in the hotel so my breakfast came as a bento like box takeaway. No coffee also, the coffee is available in the room but is chargeable. Only the tea bags are free. The parking is multi-storeyed and managed electronically. You put your car into the car lift and it is then parked automatically one car at a time. To retrieve your car, you need to scan your hotel card for it to be brought down via the car lift again. It may be time consuming if you are in a hurry and there are a few people in the queue before you.

From the kitchen utensils, pots & pans, toaster, chopping board, knifes, they even have microwave! They even have iron & iron board! It really feels like home ❤️ Oh, also they have complete facilities too such as public washing machine, gym, swimming pool, meetinh room & more ~ Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu is just located at the city centre, it's so convenient! Thank again for the pleasant stay, love the friendly staffs too 💞 Definitely will be back again with my family next! 🥰

Breakfast just normal, waitstaff was a bit inattentive, not sure which table bring us to.
didn’t book a seaview room, but my room was totally a blocked view 🤣. Can only see a huge rooftop of other buildings. But the room is clean, cleaning service quite good, I asked for more water and they did gave me more.
One of the highlight could be their pool.
Great sea view, I enjoyed it a lot.
location is decent, still need to walk a bit to reach the main city area.

Try local foods around this hotel e.g, 1) Yee Fung…..don’t miss Wonton Soup 2) Keng Wan Hing……Big Pau (Chinese bun) with hot coffee Actually, Atkinson Tower and Signal Hill Observatory are in walking area but both have been closed for renovation. I stayed in Single room without window…..clean, private bathroom, air condition, tv……..anyway, there was no daily housekeeping? Cos I stayed 2 nights but no one came to my room. I stayed on 3rd floor (only 3 floor…..still have a lift) and there was heavy rain on 2nd night…….big rain big sound……made my Cinemax….watching Indiana Jones….gone with the rain…..no signal at all (TV Hotel) In the summary, highly recommended for reasonable price for budget traveller upon prime location. Note for Airport Transfer From KKiA or BKI, there was no operation of Airport Bus due to Covid situation. Then, you can rake a taxi at fixed fee at 30 ringgit or grab only 10 ringgit……for sure….Grab….airport bus only 5 ringgit

GGuest UserThis is a very clean hotel. They are doing renovations to maintain its quality. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms a nice clean and spacious. Breakfast is not huge but you won't go away hungry. Very close to several tasty restaurants and there is a coffee shop. Very nice mountain view at cafe level 6.

NNanie Idayu MMy husband and I spent two nights here. The queen room size is suitable for family with 2 children under 10. During our stay the tv channels had problems due to the change from analogue to digital tv. We asked for help from the maintanence and he showed up...3 times but the problem unsolved (my husband was quite upset because he wanted to watch the Malaysia Cup final between JDT and Kedah... lol). We have not tried the food because breakfast was not included in my room rate. Mini bar is not provided in room. The room and bathroom are clean. The hotel provide a newspaper every morning. The location is good even for those who come without transportation...just a few minutes walk to Imago, Craft Market and KK market

GGuest UserNothing much that i can say. my family and I have amazing stay at Borneo Beach Villa karambunai for 3 days 2 night. The villas is clean, the pool is clean and the beach is so beautiful. My family really enjoy with the stay. However the reason i give. 4 star because our villa has some of broken chair at table outside and the door is very hard to open because of rusty. I think maybe the villa itself is too old. Mybe it just our villa not sure with another. It will be nice if they can check regularly maintenance for each villa Some of things need to remind while you in here: 1. Villas doesnt have WIFI. Only have at receptionist, thus if you want to do work while chilling make sure you bring your own wifi. 2. Make sure to buy any groceries that you want before reach to villa because the distant with mart is far away they didnt have their own mart, only restaurant 3. This villa didnt provide any lobby service. But aboVe all that we are really enjoy staying here.
