The hotel was fine but I was not happy with my room. The shower was very small & had a dirty shower curtain so was hard to shower there every day for a week. The decor in the room was very dated. Sheets were changed everyday but nothing else got cleaned for my whole stay. The floor was dirty and as soon as you walk in there is a strange smell. Wardrobe smelt bad too. The taverna on the Beach was great though, food was very good with good prices. I wouldn’t stay here again as it’s just too dirty. I could hear music until midnight which kept me awake. I only used the room for sleeping really. Sorry to leave a bad review but I have to be honest.

Hotel was good and easy to arrive from airport. Nick was very friendly and we felt welcoming, thanks to him for that. The woman with black hair at front desk wasn’t really professional. She claimed us for her own mistake and didnt apologies us, even toho she made a mistake and blamed us for no reason. Not really professional work from her! Otherwise we liked the hotel very much so thanks to others for good stay!

First of all this hotel is in a direct flight path with the airport being a 5 minute car journey away! I was never made aware of this & no one seems to have mentioned it on their reviews either!. The hotel is quite run down & the breakfast is very basic! The staff however were lovely & was always helpful & polite. The rooms aren't great & the showers were broke in both rooms we had. Unfortunately this is certainly not a 4* hotel as advertised. We spent as much time as we could away from the hotel.

Where to start… the staff at the reception and manager Nik were just the best. They helped is with tons of informations, helped us with organisations of day trips and renta car/scooter. Every evening and morning they would ask you how your day was and you can see they remember everything. Then there is their great greek resturant with home made and fresh food. Again the staff there is so kind. They also have great long beach with view on kite surfers and Turkey. It was really hard to leave at the end, they made our trip even better. I’m coming back to them for sure!

For what you pay the hotel is actually quite nice. It’s nice and clean. We did have a bit of trouble with the shower but we went to reception and the guy there was helpful. Staff were always nice and really helpful.

I don't demand luxury but this is not a 4 star hotel, I would give it 2 stars. Rooms are small and dirty, the daily cleaning is very basic, straighten the sheets and wipe the floor. All drawers, the clothes closet and nightstand were dusty and smelly. The TV in the room is useless, a 17" or 20" screen from 4-6 meters away. The kitchen tools, very old and dirty. The balcony, the small table and seats were never cleaned. Bathroom is small and dirty, nothing works as it should, the shower head was never cleaned and it licks in all directions, same with the sink floss. Towels were never changed for the duration of the stay. Walls and doors are thin and you can hear everything and everyone.

Spent a week at the Bayside Hotel, the main selling point of this little hotel is the staff, they are warm, welcoming and very accommodating! The rooms have useful fridges, kettles and hobs, so if on a budget they are perfect for lunch in your room. The balcony was perfect at night. Free air on and little TVs. Taverna on site, gardens and own beach. Opposite is a little supermarket and only a 5 min walk to the bus stop to town and the airport. Lots of local restaurants I would recommend Canton and Rosemary in particular. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the pool area. It really does need a severe deep clean of all the grills and tiles and some chlorine popping in the pool, as it is building up green algae. At this time of year, at the end of season, not many people we’re swimming as too cold and windy, so I understand the need to cut costs on chlorine and filtration, but the pool area was really disappointing with a shut down bar, broken umbrellas and sun beds, and a dirty pool. It’s the selling point of the hotel with the raised bar and bridges, but it has lost its previous glam. However at £35 a night I imagine there isn’t much profit for renovation projects post pandemic so I appreciate its hard to find spare cash to invest in this area but it’s where I would put my focus on for 2023/2024 season.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and, by luck, came across the taverna set on the grounds of the hotel and open to all. The taverna has the look and feel of a traditional greek taverna, and we were welcomed by friendly staff. The menu is small but varied, with traditional meals and snacks and a good range of wine, beers etc. We ordered a Greek salad, Tzatziki with Pita and a bottle of house white wine. The quality of the food was excellent, tasted fresh with large portions. House wine was also really good. Prices were very reasonable, and we were soon hooked by the friendliness of all the hard-working staff and the quality of the food. We visited at least one time each day of our holiday and soon became friends with Steve & Irene who in the main run the show. We enjoyed every meal we had, which you can see being cooked to order in the spotlessly clean kitchen. Next year we intend to return and stay in the hotel and enjoy more traditional greek food and hospitality.
