The hotel is charming with a very pleasant terrace, situated just across from the beach. We stayed in two cottages which are decently sized with a super comfy king sized bed and great shower. We had dinner and breakfast there, both very good. Check in and out was quick and easy. The cherry on top is their service. The staff are lovely. Warm, friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much guys, you were all amazing! We will definitely stay there again when we visit Arcachon again (which in itself is fabulous!). Well worth a visit.

This is a happy place definitely!!! Amazing design, you need to love colour and a cool atmosphere. The beds are the most conrad beds I have ever slept in, and I am traveling a lot. The team is extremely hospitable, you feel welcome all the time. The rooms are so nice and cosy, still spacious, we had a superior room. It’s kept in a 50s style. The breakfast was very nice, I read in the reviews before that it was not good, but I can not agree. This is a boutique hotel and offers a nice boutique breakfast, with fresh orange juice, fruits, Bread, cereals , eggs etc. The dinner was also great. Overall this hotel is a fantastic experience, we booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. And it is 2 Minutes walking from the beach - what else would you need.

it felt like it was not an hotel: on a business trip, I was told 1 day prior to my arrival that the restaurant would be closed in the night. It was actually closed for midday and privatise the night (giving me the benefice to hear a loud late music). I did not get any room cleaning during my 2 nights stay and there was an in depth cleaning of the hotel all day long (see picture - nosy and not making the entry practicable). For a 250x2 nights stay, I would say it was largely over priced. I told my concerns at the check out but it seems they did not care

Great service! A lot of smiles and great welcoming. Food and breakfast were really good and great value. The hotel is really well decorated within a very typical house. Lovely and full of charm hotel. The beach is 2 minutes walk.

In spite of a quite slow breakfast service, everything was fine. Very nice hotel and very compete breakfast. We also had lunch at La Guitoune. It is an Italian menu and it is very correct. The Spritz are fabulous.

Not a good hotel. A friend and i stayed in seperate rooms during a European road trip recently. He had items from his mini bar but they charbed them to my credit card without my permission and refused to pay it back which i think is illegal. There is no way i would recomend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel definitely knows how to put a smile on your face. It’s fun, quirky and doesn’t take itself too seriously: lobsters galore, enchanting sirens and vintage finds. The beach is right across the street. No loungers or umbrellas, but the hotel provides towels so you can have a dip and go lounge. Good bar and restaurant in the hotel, and enough alternatives within walking distance. The staff really are the friendliest and most hardworking people, and will do their utmost for you to have the best experience possible. If I should find any room for improvement: maybe the restaurant could have a few more options on the menu. We had a perfect stay and highly recommend this amazing hotel ＜3

Last time I was in Pyla was in 2013 and I then staid at La Corniche, which is a great place. For this end of August one-night trip I booked last minute and, as La Corniche was fully booked, I tried La Guitoune of which I had read reviews. I must say my experience was excellent. I staid in one of the cottages at the back of the hotel. It was clean, quiet and looked like it had been renovated recently. Good location, a few minutes walk from the beach. No sea view though. I rented one of their electric scooters (real scooters) to get around. This is very helpful as their are no Ubers and it can take quite some time to get a regular taxi. All the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I didn’t try the bar nor restaurant, but the design is cool. I was good back!

Had a great 24hrs with super friendly staff, great food & great vibe Shame there is not more of an outdoor lounge area but this is such a small issue when the overall stay was so good The room is a good size and the bathroom has a great bath - room decor is super cook along with the hotel common areas - very cool
