"The property was ok. But I just want to add that the bed and pillows was horrible to sleep on .. Had an important exam the next day and couldn’t sleep at all all night ..
I do not know how someone can sleep like that it was just too soft and caves in when you sleep creating an Ackward arched back that it feels so sore to sleep .. the pillows again the same too big to sleep on and all the same size .. they are good size if you want to put them behind back and watch tv but not to sleep .. Had to put towels under my head to sleep as I simply couldn’t use those pillows .. whoever’s idea is that I wonder if they tested them before using it for customers ..I wonder if they could sleep on the bed and those pillows . Good luck .. rest no complaints at all ."
"I had a short one-night trip to Ottawa and stayed at the Best Western Plus Ottawa-Gatineau Downtown. The location was great—close to Ottawa’s main attractions, yet in a quieter area across the bridge, away from the busy downtown. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
However, the room amenities were quite basic, which matches its more affordable price. Still, there are some convenient options on the RC floor, like access to water, hot water, coffee, and a microwave.
Overall, it’s a good choice for a short and budget-friendly stay near downtown Ottawa."
"We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel the night before our wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant, just what we needed before the big day. The valet service was quick and efficient, though it’s good to know there is a $44 charge per night. Overall, everything felt smooth and well taken care of, and we’re glad we chose to stay there for such a special moment."
"The hotel is more impressive than expected, and transportation is convenient. Most of the scenic spots can be reached on foot by crossing the bridge. Of course, it's also easy to park if you drive here. The rooms are spacious and clean, but unfortunately, the air conditioner is a bit noisy. The hotel uses a central air-conditioning system, which is much quieter than traditional independent air conditioners. It's believed that the noise can be reduced through proper maintenance."
"The hotel's location is excellent. You can walk to all the bustling streets nearby, and I could see the Parliament building right from my room. The front desk service was great. If you're driving, valet parking is available for around 60 Canadian dollars, paid at the front desk, which I believe includes the tip."
"We have stayed at Les Suites multiple times as a family, and we could not ask for a better experience every time. From the cleanliness of the rooms, kindness of the staff, amenities and location to restaurants and activities, it just ticks all of our boxes. Consistency is key :)"
"The service is very good, the room is very large, the hygiene is very clean, the kitchen utensils are very complete, the living room sofa can sleep, the night is very quiet, it is a very good choice."
"The room is spacious, tidy and clean with sufficient facilities. I really appreciate the housekeeping. The housekeeper is considerate and helpful. The breakfast is included and the variety is sufficient. I think this hotel provides good value for money with such service and breakfast at reasonable prices."
"Very good service with an excellent continental breakfast! We even brought ice packs and they kept them in the freezer for us overnight to take back the next day! It was very much appreciated!"
"Really enjoyed our stay. Nice spacious suits. Definitely book next time!"

Great
GGuest UserWe had a beautiful stay. Easy access. Staff at the restaurant very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Just be mindful that the hotel is sitting on top of the pub which depending on events you might hear the noise. We were ok.. no party or event the nights we were there (Friday and Saturday). Restaurants /amenities nearby and access to the bike path really close to the hotel..
AAlicia York-BirdA quirky little hotel that is directly on the main drag in Gatineau. The room was a good size, though the tiny bathroom left a lot to be desired; it was old, dated, and so small that the sink was in the main room.
The bed, however, was very comfortable and the desk/tv setup was great. Lots of convenient receptacles for plugging in phones and the like. The fridge in the cupboard made that cupboard very hot and I'd imagine those fridges won't last long as burnout must be a thing...
Weird, convoluted directions for getting to the hot tub from our room; make sure to leave a trail of breadcrumbs or you may be lost forever.
Front desk staff were professional and completely bilingual, which was very much appreciated.
MMaizishangdehaichongThe booked king suit suite, the room size is large, suitable for family travel.
Canada does not provide disposable items by default. It is best to bring your own toiletries, especially slippers. There are no disposable slippers here. If you go to the front desk to ask for it, provide recycled foot cover (avoid the floor cold in winter)
This is generally only available at 3 pm. It is best to have an ihg member. Otherwise, you can't check in before 3 o'clock and you need to pay 25 CAD separately. When the hotel is busy, the member's late check-out cannot be used. This should be noted.
It is recommended to book a room facing the west side, and the sunset is very beautiful in the evening. If you are traveling by car, it is recommended to go to the park by the river, 5 minutes drive, there is a large green area, you can see swarms of wild Canadian geese.
YYuanyouAmazing place to stay and relax. Winter would be even better as there is an on-site onsen swimming pool and Spa for extra cost though. Gym is the best.
GGuest UserWe were so happy for our night of staying in this hotel. The room was amazing, not to mention the beautiful bi-level room that we got. The facility was so clean, the bath, the beds, the crews all were amazing. Looking for our next trip and staying in this hotel.
Totally happy to recommend.
Nnoman2508The Stay was good the City was doing a lot of construction and due to that we were unable to find a suitable diversion route to the hotel as all the signs and streets are in french. For visitors it becomes inconvenient. The building elevator was down the second day which was inconvenience. Other than that everything was awesome for a family of five.
GGuest UserA pet-friendly motel. The first day when I arrived, a stray cat was standing outside the main entrance door. Instead of chasing the stray cat away, the staff opened the door and guided the cat to a vacant room which is designated for lodging by customers with pets. The stray cat was given water. He found his new home as he was finally adopted.
There is an open kitchen in the motel. Customers can bring their food and do some simple cooking.
A motel with friendly and kind staff.
