Hotels near Uhlenhorst, Hamburg

"The bed is far too narrow and uncomfortable for two people. Absolutely unacceptable! The rooms are noisy and the curtains can no longer be closed."

"Nice hotel not far away from the Harbour attractions of Hamburg. The hotel staff was very kind and upon my request changed our room because of a bad odor from the restroom. The breakfast is pretty good with lots of choices. The hotel has an underground parking lot which is 30 euros for visitors and 20 euros for guests, still pretty expensive considering the hotel costs of about a hundred euros per night. But in general a good hotel experience. One bonus is the free drinks of the room bar, including two beers!"

"Mein absolutes Lieblingshotel. Super Service, Sauberkeit und ein top Fitnessstudio. Ich fühle mich immer wohl. Schade, dass das Personal nach sieben Aufenthalten alleine in diesem Jahr nicht etwas persönlicher wird und jedes Mal wieder denkt, wir seien das erste Mal hier. Junge und nette Leute, aber keine familiäre Atmosphäre."

"My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center. It’s the attentive service and premium amenities that set this hotel apart. I felt thoroughly pampered and would not hesitate to return for another luxurious stay."

"Out and about with a friend for a wedding on the Alster. The apartment is a good 15 minute walk away, so very doable. Booked parking and it worked great. Car is safe in the yard. Super friendly reception, everything was explained over the phone beforehand. Apartment very clean, everything you need is there, even the first supply of coffee or tea. Spent the night quietly and totally relaxed."

"About 8 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel, the traffic is very convenient, including various buses. But the staff on this road is a bit complicated, some people will gather on the side of the road, there will be inexplicable tension. The hotel room is also good and very clean. Not far from Lidl can be replenished"

"I've stayed at this chain's branch in Frankfurt before, so I chose it again for my trip to Hamburg. It's quiet for sleeping and parking is easy, which is great! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"I had a very pleasant, uncomplicated and nice stay at the sleeping hotel Alsterroom. My room was exactly the same as the pictures and was in fact even more beautiful than expected. When I travel to Hamburg next, this hotel would definitely be my first choice again. I felt very well and can only recommend it further!"

"What more can I say... it sounds more exciting at first than it actually is. It's a typical hipster hotel: everything cool, everything casual, but not very practical, and even less professional! Getting from the ground floor to your room is always a trek, and the numerous uninspired construction fences and red-white-red plastic barrier tapes make you feel like you're walking through a construction site. The rooms are modern, but impractical and cold. In our suite, we couldn't even crack a window open for ventilation, there was no shelf on my side of the bed for my phone and other belongings, the bathroom was tiny for a suite with no storage space, the oversized TV blocked the view of what would otherwise be a great view, and so on. In short: you can do it once, but you don't have to. There are better hotels in the area, more practical, and cheaper to boot."

"Booked a twin room at a small apartment-turned-horse (can barely be called a hotel) in the suburbs of Hamburg, and one of the 'beds' was actually a sofa bed. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood, very authentic, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a car!"
