A boutique hotel close to the Dona Katalina Zubia. There are two entrances to the hotel, the main one facing the road and the other entrance facing the Urumea River. Staff were friendly and always had a smile. The hotel is quite clean and everything is within 15mins walk. The amenities are limited, but there is a 24 hour reception and bar downstairs, a nice roof top sunbathing area and a gym. Please double check the other amenities listing when booking, as I don't recall seeing the Public Bath, Foot Bath and Clothes Dryer as advertise. I would also suggest to check the batteries of the remotes before someone check ins, as I had to request it to be changed and it wasn't available until the next day, more compliment bottles of water and dental kits (given there was 3 of us and only 2 bottles and 1 kit). Overall though, I enjoyed the stay and would come back again.

The room was quite bad. Despite booking a classic room, we were given a basic one, which was smaller. The cleanliness could be better, as there was hair in the sink when we arrived. The ceiling, held up with tape, was quite shoddy. The facilities could use some updating.
Regarding the service, it was excellent. We had a problem because the door kept opening on its own without a key. One of the cleaning and maintenance staff helped us, and we managed to get it locked so that the card was required to open it.
The location was perfect.

Although it's a little far from the old town, there are cafes and the beach nearby that seem to be popular with locals. It's clean. There's a bar downstairs, but the room is quiet. Two staff members, one male and one female, helped us. They were very friendly, kind, and wonderful. I stayed here with three friends sightseeing. There was a double bed and a sofa bed. The room was clean and spacious enough to fit three suitcases. The bathroom was also clean, and the hairdryer had a strong airflow, which was great. The facilities seemed new. The room temperature was comfortably adjusted.

I stayed here while visiting San Sebastian bars.
It was very close to the old town, and there was a supermarket diagonally in front of the hotel, so the location was very good.
The room was clean and the staff at the front desk were very nice and made me feel comfortable.

The hotel is located just a few minutes by bus from the bar area.
The exterior looks old, but the interior is very nice and clean.
The bed was fluffy and I slept well.
There's a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up if you need something.
The breakfast selection isn't that extensive, but it was more than adequate. And it was very delicious.
I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit San Sebastian.

I stayed in a ”city view” room during my solo trip through the Basque region and it was such a comfortable room I forgot about not having sea view.
Though I do recommend to go to the cafe to have the beachside experience if you get the city view room because it overlooks a construction site on the back street.
The hotel was an easy 15min walk with my heavy suitcase from the intercity bus center, just beside the beach. The room was squeaky clean with a large bathtub, and the bed so comfortable I could not get up to go see the sunset! Also helpful kind staff and great location for getting around the city on foot or by bus. I went to the Chillida Leku museum it was 30min by bus no25.
Highly recommend!

It is the best location in the old town. I checked in online in advance, but I received a signature and payment link by email, and I had already paid via Triip.com, so I had to check by phone to prevent double payment. .
I was told in advance how to get to the room, password, and how to get the key, but I felt like solving the mystery because there was a lack of explanation. The key to the pension room is to open the first door, go up the stairs, and then open the second door. (I thought there was a locker with a key next to the first door, and I opened the breaker.)
I was confused at first because the toilet was not locked and I was able to fully enjoy the city of San Sebastian thanks to the location.

Nice hotel close to the city center. Friendly staff. Parking is an issue, if you don’t get to book your space then you have to park outside in a public parking and both are expensive.
The rooms are modern and the swimming pool at the rooftop is useful. Also the spa.

It was a stylish room with a surfing motif. It was clean, and the shower room and toilet were easy to use, with a hairdryer in the sink, which my wife and daughter, who accompanied me, appreciated. Although it is located away from the old town, it is within a 10-minute bus ride. On the other hand, Real Marena is within a 10-minute walk, making it ideal for watching soccer. I was actually able to walk back to the hotel smoothly despite the post-match crowds. Finally, the front desk staff were friendly and very pleasant.

A very new & clean hotel.
Need to take a bus ride to old town via bus or cab.
Journey is abt 15-20mins.
Breakfast at the hotel was decent.
Bed was comfy but not the sofa bed, which can feel the metal frame when my kid sleep on it.
Relatively value for $ if don’t mind the bus journey. No amenities around the hotel.
Good for people who drives as there is free parking available.
Very Good

GGuest UserGreat hotel in fantastic location. New and clean. It’s one block to the old town and all restaurants. The hotel is opposite a small park so very quiet. The best is there is a bus stop to the airport conveniently across the road for when you are ready to leave :-)
BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.
**Beware of the 'Upgrade.'”**
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a quiet, scenic area up in the mountains, offering a peaceful retreat from the city. However, there aren’t many restaurants or supermarkets nearby, so planning ahead is recommended. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the hotel by bus from the city center or the train/bus station.
I loved the interior design of the room — it felt very refreshing and relaxing, with thoughtful touches that added to the overall comfort and ambiance.
Check-in can be a bit frustrating — during my visit, I noticed several groups of Asian tourists waiting, though I’m not sure what caused the delay. That said, the gentlemen at the front desk were all very helpful, and the hotel responded quickly to any requests.
Unfortunately, due to a packed schedule, I didn’t have the chance to try the hotel’s restaurant, which I hope to experience next time.
GGuest UserHotels in San Sebastian are very expensive, so I stayed at this hostel.
We were assigned a locker, large enough to store suitcases and other large items, and we kept our belongings there. It was nice that it was separate from the sleeping area, so we didn't have to worry about noise.
The sleeping area was clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers were just okay...
Since it's a hostel, the guest self-governance and etiquette depend on each other, so the comfort level depends on the guest's morals. I planned to stay for three nights, but on my second night, a guest was smoking in the non-smoking sleeping area, and the smell drifted in through the vent (or something like that) in the bed area, creating an unbearable cigarette smell. I tried to endure it and try to find the person smoking, but in the end I couldn't stand it anymore and decided to cut it short after two nights and find another place. Of course, I gave up paying for one night's hotel fee.
When I told the hostel manager, he asked me who it was, and I thought, if I knew, I would have warned him myself. In the end, he didn't do anything.
MMary070Everything at the hotel is fine ! Beginning with recepshen! Very pleasant smiling staff ! Comfortable bed ! Small room , more suitable for one person or without large luggage in two . In the lobby there is always water with lemon ! Breakfast is delicious and saturated ! For me the most !!!
GGuest UserThe pension is easy to find, and staff are very helpful. Beds are comfortable; coffee and tea are available; everything is clean.
The only difficulty might be is there is only one bathroom for all the guests. We were here in low season, so didn't have much difficulty, but I can imagine problems in the high season.
The pension is in the old part of San Sebastian, so visiting the most picturesque parts is easy, as is visiting nearby villages.
Local food is excellent.
I highly recommend this pension; excellent value for your money. It's the best base for exploring this part of the Basque Country.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is quite lovely and stylish, very hip boutique vibe.
The location is a bit of a walk to the old town, half an hour maybe, but its along the lovely beach so we enjoyed it. Nice view on to the square.
Would have liked for there to have been some tea and coffee making facilities in the room
One thing we strongly disliked was the fact that the toilet and shower were only separated from the room by translucent plastic walls. Even though I was with a close friend the transparency and complete lack of sound proofing on the toilet was not something I enjoyed
GGuest UserThe hotel is located about 15-20 min walk to the center of San Sebastian. Staff are kind and extremely helpful. Cleanliness was good. Restaurant was surprisingly very good in the lobby. stayed there for 5nights and 6 days was well worth it. The price was quite expensive for what i paid but it was during the film festival so was well worth it. would certainly stay here on my way back to San Sebastian
Wonderful knowledgeable staff who are genuinely helpful
GGuest UserNumad studios is actually more for long term stays or students, it did not feel like a hotel, which some may like.
Staying as a short term guest (3 nights) I anticipated to be treated more like a hotel guest i.e. a bottle of water in the room, more than one towel, an actual hook to hang the towel on.
Unfortunately what I didnt expect was scaffolding around the room, with men working on at my window level, banging. I provided feedback to a survey sent the first time impacted by the works, the next day we were woken at 8am by more works. This was check out day
I informed reception on leaving who said she would prefer us to tell her sooner to ensure our stay was to our satisfaction.
Whilst a nice thought, the first time was after a long hike (when feedback was provided immediately electronically) the second the morning of leaving. I doubt at that time there was much she could do. However it strikes me they should be aware of where works are going on, especially if worksmen will be on site in the vicinity of room windows.
Whilst it is very accessible to the city, this is really and out of town area of hospitals and technology offices/places of study.
The room was very clean, transport useful, but it lacked any atmosphere. I would stay here if you are in the area for work or study, otherwise a hotel nearer the city is best.
Additionally, the room we booked was not available we were provided, instead of a large studio, with essentially two adjoining rooms, which was a suitable alternative but a shame, particularly as those rooms were where the scaffolding was.
