Hotels near 19th arr., Paris

Green Park Hotel was a really pleasant surprise. It's a simple yet well-maintained hotel with a genuine sense of hospitality. The value for money is particularly impressive for Paris, especially since its location, just a stone's throw from Buttes-Chaumont, adds real comfort to the stay. Pleasant rooms, a quiet neighborhood, and attentive staff without being intrusive. A discreet but effective place that you'll be happy to remember.

The hotel is budget one and the rooms are small. The bathroom door doesn’t close, it just opens to the other side, so I don’t know how you’re supposed to take a shower without having water all over the floor. I used the towel to keep it in place though. No fridge. The bed was comfortable, and the reception staff was super friendly. Overall, it’s worth the money and ok to stay for a night.

The location is quite convenient, situated between two Line 7 metro stations, and it's relatively quiet with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's also not far from Gare de l'Est and about a ten-minute walk from Gare du Nord. It has the standard Ibis setup. I stayed on the first floor, and the soundproofing wasn't great; plus, there was a strange smell right when I entered. It's a recommendable option for a short stay.

Good accommodations, very comfortable bed, close to the subway, restaurants, and various shops. Friendly and attentive service. My only complaint is that it was written on the Trip booking that breakfast was free for children under 17, but it wasn't. The hotel claims to have no idea about this. It wasn't free. But there are cheaper breakfast options nearby.

Very nice location with a lot of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The nearest metro station which is Riget is just 350 meters away and can connect to the main Paris transportation network easily. Only negative thing is they serve very simple breakfast and during our 6 days stay the menu never changes. We gave up after the 3rd day and only had coffee for 5th & 6th days.

Positive: Room was nice. It was spacious and very clean. location was good, you can find lots of affordable restaurants around hotel. The staff was friendly. They are really helpful. Negative: Unfortunately we needed to use earplugs as there was a party at the ground floor. (If you like part, then ignore this) Overall breakfast was good, but there could be egg, and some vegetables. (Still croissant and coffee were nice) Also if you take shower in private bathroom, then you have water in all bathroom. There should be better solution then curtain to block water.

It was my second time in this hotel, I chose it again because it is very well connected by metro with big nodes such as the Gare du Nord and Bastille. The room is simple, clean and use-friendly, with a good bed, at (for Paris) very interesting prices. I specified to have a room on the back of the building, and this has been successful. Friendly staff. I was going to get a snack in the evening and found the next morning myrs around the waste box.

This review is from a Malaysian Chinese woman, 20+, 170cm, size M.😆 If you're on a budget but it's your first time in France and you're worried about safety, read this. Pros: 1. Since it's a hotel, housekeeping cleans daily. At the very least, the trash and towels are replaced every day. I stayed for 7 nights, and if I had stayed in an Airbnb, the trash would probably have piled up. So, this is great for longer-staying travelers. 2. Convenient location. It's a 15-minute walk to Place de la Bastille and Le Marais. Taking the bus and metro is very easy, and Paris is a great city for walking. I even walked from the hotel to the Opera in an hour, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. 3. Lots of food nearby! Plenty of brunch spots – you can grab a bite right outside the door. 4. 24-hour front desk, so any issues can be addressed at any time. Cons: 1. Bathroom: Upon check-in, there was a distinct odd smell in the bathroom. It wasn't ammonia; maybe it was the disinfectant they use? Also, you can't flush too much toilet paper at once, or it won't go down. Surprisingly, the shower and toilet are separate, with a curtain you can pull for a semi-wet/dry separation. As a 170cm, M-sized Asian woman, I found it perfectly adequate. 2. Bedding: Although housekeeping came to clean daily, I don't think the bed linen was changed. Since we weren't out early and back late, we were too lazy to ask (though I'm sure we could have mentioned it to the front desk), so the cleanliness might be just okay. However, the bed wasn't uncomfortable; I've slept on more expensive beds that were worse. 3. Soundproofing: Not great. If you sleep in a bit late, you'll start hearing traffic noise from the street. But there aren't many cars in the morning, so it acts as a little alarm, reminding you it's 11 am and time to get up! 🤣 Overall, it's a safe, affordable, and convenient place! If you can tolerate the three drawbacks I mentioned, then it's definitely worth checking out.

Breakfast was excellent, Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheeses, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, all very good quality apple juice, orange juice, tea, coffee et cetera The room was fine ,nice big bed & comfortable…I didn’t really like the pillows, but my partner did. I found the room very warm. I’m not sure the air-conditioning was working and it only went down to 17°. The bathroom was very small, but had everything you needed and was Clean My partner is 6 foot four and found the shower quite a squeeze( He’s tall, not fat) Reception were very helpful. The Restaurant staff were lovely. The Cleaner is very pleasant. There was a hairdryer ,tea and coffee making facilities You can help yourself from the downstairs bar for extra tea, coffee, milk, et cetera or ask at reception We had clean towels every day as there was nowhere to dry the  towels… The towels were very small. You might want to take a microfibre one with you if you’re used to a larger towel. It is noisy as it is on a junction where the train station is, but the trains do stop at midnight.. They do provide earplugs👍 One night, some people were talking outside at 3 am we were on the third floor.. The other guests were slamming doors at God knows what time and you could hear people using the bathroom..

Very good location, close to the subway station, very cool restaurants, super boulangerie in the nearby area. Fantastic hotel service. Walls between rooms are very thin - you can hear neighbors very clearly. The rooms are very small, microscopic bathrooms, bathroom curtains are unpleasant. The glue floor. The artificial bed- was very hot under it. No kettle, cups and tea set - I give a big minus. We have to go down to the reception to make tea or coffee.
