"The hotel's environment is quite good, and the facilities are excellent. My second day stay was very pleasant, I'd definitely recommend it. It's worth checking out, and it feels pretty safe to just stroll around in the mornings."
"I am visiting Jakarta with my family to watch F4 concert. the reason why we choose this hotel is due to the location. It is around 20min walk from the concert arena to the hotel. Since we know that the traffic after the concert will be super long.
The staffs are very friendly and room is spacious. The only thing I would like to call out is that the shower gel and shampoo are not easily dispenseable. It is so hard to get it out and I end up using shampoo as shower gel. I thought this is only happening in my room but another room face the same as well. Hopefully the issue will be fixed."
"I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, the experience was underwhelming — starting with the motorcycle parking area, the hotel lobby, and the exterior of the building, all of which appeared poorly maintained.
The room itself was below expectations: only one pair of slippers was provided, the bathroom was neglected and dirty, with visible leak stains and dampness. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and the dim lighting created an unsettling, almost spooky atmosphere.
Due to these conditions, I ultimately decided not to stay overnight. This property requires significant improvements in maintenance and guest comfort to meet even basic hospitality standards."
"I originally intended to book a different hotel from this chain, but somehow ended up booking this one instead. The location is quite inconvenient for shopping and dining. The hotel service was poor, and it was a hassle to get in touch with them if I needed anything. Even though they might have been following protocol, I just got the distinct feeling that they really didn't care about my experience. I arrived in the morning, but they made me wait until the afternoon to check in. While I can't say they did anything explicitly wrong, I definitely won't be staying there again."
"The hotel is in a good location and is convenient for getting around. The room facilities are basic but generally clean. However, the elevator is quite slow. The bathroom towels were a little discolored and should be replaced with new ones. There was also some mold in certain areas of the bathroom, which would benefit from more thorough cleaning and maintenance. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is room for improvement."
"Staff was super helpful. Had problem with hot water in my bathroom, once I informed them they were onto it then I had hot water on the same day, thanks so much! They gave me a room just exactly as I requested. Super clean, bed was so comfortable, had a decent size of window and good view!
One thing I wasn’t happy about was it seems they don’t have soundproof wall, because I really could hear all of the noise from the main road (my room window facing to the main road), and I had one very bad night where I kept waken up in the middle of the night because of the loud traffic noise outside 😰."
"Booked the executive Jacuzzi. The service was superb. The staff was so attentive.
The room was quite small to my expectations.
A little sad part of my vacation was the jacuzzi system when i turn it on, the whole tub will smell like fart. Probably the unclean filter. Which is sad because i purposely book this for the private jacuzzi. Maybe need to do some maintainance. Oh side note, No iron provided."
"One of the best boutique hotel i stayed in, its as shown as in the photos. The room is clean and comfortable (the bed can be a little bigger for couples). The location also perfect close to a big mall and business distric area. Definitely will book another here but will try a bigger room"
"The room matched the photos perfectly. It was spotless, and they cleaned it every day, restocking coffee, water, and tea. The front desk staff were very helpful with any questions. Plus, the city views from the windows were fantastic! It's an 8-minute walk to the metro through secure areas, and there's a FamilyMart nearby for breakfast."
"SOTIS Hotel Falatehan, Blok M, Jakarta Review
My friend and I stayed here and were extremely satisfied with our experience!
• Cleanliness: Absolutely outstanding! From the room to the public areas, everything was consistently clean and tidy. Definitely deserves a 5/5.
• Location: Strategic in Blok M, easy to access and close to various eateries, shopping centers, and public transport. A real winner, 5/5!
• Service: The staff were friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. Their service made us feel like special guests, a definite 5/5.
• Facilities: Already very good with various amenities functioning well, though there's a little room for improvement or updates to make it even more perfect, so I'll give it a 4/5.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for a vacation with friends or even a business trip!"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe location is absolutely prime, right in the heart of Jakarta's central business district. The staff are friendly, and service is quick and efficient – any requests or needs are handled really well. It's perfect for both family and solo trips. There are plenty of food options and chill-out spots around the hotel. If you're staying here on a weekend, you can enjoy exercising around the SCBD area or head to GBK. It's also close to the MRT station.
GGuest UserChecking in was decent, we had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready and to be fair it was new year's eve on Dec 31st so can't complain. The room is modern and upscale with a touch of traditional Indonesian heritage design. What I love most is the bed and bathroom..especially the rain shower plus the water pressure is perfect. We also received complementary cocholate as well to celebrate new year. Lastly breakfast menu was good, they served western and Indo menus, pastries and desserts. Overall was excellent.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located above a shopping mall (2nd floor) and has dining options on the B1 level. It's safe and convenient, situated near embassies. The service is meticulous, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and overlook a rooftop garden.
GGuest UserThis was our first hotel in Jakarta with the kids, and overall, it was pretty good. While it might not quite measure up to the Shangri-La, for the price, I think it offers incredible value for money. The kids' play area was decent too. I even saw a staff member meticulously folding towels, which showed a good attention to detail. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why kids weren't allowed in the executive lounge, but thankfully, they opened up a meeting room for us to dine in instead.
AAnonymous UserHad a great stay overall. The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and professional—they made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around and manage luggage easily. A good option if you prefer bigger rooms compared to newer compact hotels.
Location is very convenient, especially being near Kota Kasablanka mall, with lots of dining and shopping options just a short walk away.
Breakfast was average—decent variety but nothing particularly standout.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with great service. Would consider staying here again.
YYanxiazhuyueI stayed at this hotel for a 10-day business trip to Jakarta. The location was very convenient, right next to Lotte Department Store, so shopping and dining were just a 10-minute walk away. The outdoor swimming pool was fantastic, surrounded by tall buildings, giving it a very business-like feel. I specifically asked the front desk to arrange a room on a high floor, 35th, and the view was indeed spectacular. One evening after a heavy rain, I even saw a double rainbow, which was a delightful surprise. The only downside was probably the limited breakfast options; it was the same few items every day, quite inferior compared to other hotels of the same caliber I've stayed at before.
AArum Octaviani Hadi MulyonoThe hotel is located right in front of the Blok M market area, a busy location with many vehicles often parked directly in front. To access the market, you’ll likely need to maneuver your way through tightly packed cars and motorbikes.
Cleanliness is fairly acceptable.
However, the toilet in the lobby was out of service during my stay. When I asked, the staff directed me to use the toilets at either the Gramedia Bookstore or Kopi Oey restaurant next door — which was quite inconvenient.
The restaurant itself is not part of the main hotel building. Guests have to walk to Kopi Oey for breakfast or other meals. While the semi-open design of the restaurant was initially fine, I had an unpleasant experience when two guests were smoking during breakfast. It really affected my dining experience and left a negative impression.
I stayed on the second floor, and unfortunately, both the Wi-Fi and cellular connection were poor. This was especially frustrating as I was traveling for work and needed stable internet for online meetings.
The elevator is noticeably slower compared to other Fave hotels I’ve stayed in.
There were also some minor disappointments:
No tissue was provided in the room.
My request for an extra bathmat was denied — something I’ve never experienced at other Fave properties.
Lastly, my friend accidentally broke a glass, and we were charged IDR 20,000 for it. While I understand the charge, a little more flexibility or understanding would have been appreciated.
Overall, I found the location too hectic, the amenities lacking, and the service not quite up to par. Sadly, I don’t see myself booking this hotel again.
AAnonymous UserThis is my second stay at Artotel Casa Kuningan, and no doubt the location of the hotel and hotel breakfast remains the main advantages of this hotel if you're looking for a place to explore Kemang/Kuningan/or even to Grand Indonesia less traffic jam from this hotel.
However, during this booking, what fell short was the service that rendered us speechless. We arrive at the hotel early at 10:00a.m. as we took an early flight, well aware that the hotel check-in is only at 14:00p.m. Hence, we registered our names and confirm our booking and was told that the room will be ready by 14:00p.m. So we left our luggages and went to have lunch and shopping at the malls. We reached back at 15:00p.m. and saw a different atmosphere at the reception. There seemed to be a lot of people waiting for their rooms, so since I have already registered earlier at 10a.m., I kindly ask the receptionist if my room is already check. They say wait awhile, will check. And seeing the faces of the other guests waiting at the lobby, I felt something was definitely off. And I waited until 15:20p.m. with no updates given from the staff with regards to the status of my check in, they all seemed frantic at their computers. Finally at 15:30p.m., I got the keys to my room but with no explanation on why was there this delay, 1hr30mins after the supposed check in timing and moreover, 5 hours after I have registered my name for my check in process.
To note, there was a wedding reception in the hotel on that day. This may have made the check in process much delayed, but not valid for guests to be treated this way as the wedding reception date should have been known well before and hotel management should have planned the manpower resources accordingly.
Additionally, the comfort of my stay was much interrupted too, as this time I was put to a room at level 3. Loud noises from the night bar could be heard very clearly from our rooms and it continued to midnight. Not only music noise, we can hear ladies heels stomping from above and this loud stomping made it worse to our inability to have a comfortable rest at night. Something needs to be solved with regards to the noise pollution heard from level 3 rooms. I have a video that could here the loud stomping from our rooms, but could not upload here.
In short, avoid level 3, and their service can be better to uphold the standard since they first opened. Hotel breakfast remains amazing with a nice pool and yakult/juices.
SSubadriI recently stayed here for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely the room size. I stayed in a suite and it was very spacious, with a separate living room, kitchen, and bedroom. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room, which was very comfortable after a long day of work.
The location is very convenient because it is connected to Plaza Semanggi, so it was easy to find food, coffee, and basic things without needing to go far. The hotel is also close to Sudirman and the business areas, but during peak hours the traffic around Semanggi can still be quite heavy, so you need to plan your travel time.
The facilities are quite complete — there is a swimming pool, gym, and some sports facilities. Breakfast was decent with both Indonesian and Western food, although the menu was more or less the same every day.
The downside is that the hotel is a bit old, and you can see it from the furniture and some parts of the room. Everything still works fine, but it could definitely use some renovation. Another thing is the elevator can be slow during busy hours, especially in the morning.
Overall, I think this hotel is very good value for money if you want a large room in a central location. It may not be a luxury or modern hotel, but it is comfortable and practical, especially for business trips or longer stays.
DDon Thusitha - AustraliaSwiss Bell Hotel chain is very expensive compare to other 4 star hotels. Not worth for money. There are more 4 star hotels much better than this at lower price in this area. I have experienced that. First room they gave me is disgusting. Not clean and broken room. After I complained they gave me another room with same aminities. Booked as a double guest room. But amenities were for a single person.
Location is very good. Near pondok indah mall. Staff also very good and friendly. But greedy management trying to earn big money, giving lower class hotel to customers. So the problem is Management. Not the staff. Also remember, there is no good seating lobby. Restaurant also high price food and drinks. .
You can get much better hotel at lower price than this is my final conclusion
