ShejianshangdejiasitingI visited Hakodate during Golden Week, and it was my first time traveling here by Shinkansen from Sendai, via Aomori. That's why I chose a hotel right next to the JR station. Its convenience in terms of transportation is simply unbeatable.
Hakodate Morning Market is just across the street from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly easy.
Since there were many guests checking in, both the check-in process and waiting for the elevators took quite a bit of time.
The room amenities were complete and comfortable.
The only downside was that the room rate during Golden Week was 3-4 times higher than usual, which was definitely not cheap.

I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

Miimouse TravelHotel is located close to the station so it was easy access from the airport. We checked in around 20:00 and we booked a bus runs by hotel (2,000yen per person) go to Hakodate mountain to see this famous night view. It was the last two seats so if you are thinking to go better to book in advance.
Hotel also runs complementary shuttle bus around the city - easy access to every sightseeing place.
Breakfast buffet was great, they have a little their own inconvenient store in the hotel so you don’t have to go out to buy something that you need. The lounge area was also great. after we took a bath we both and ice cream and we sat down there walking at the traditional sea glasses lamps which was pretty good time.

The hotel is just diagonally across from Hakodate Station, less than a ten-minute walk away. Since we arrived at noon and couldn't check in yet, the front desk staff guided us to a dedicated room for self-service luggage storage. We then asked for a map and advice on how to best plan our sightseeing in Hakodate. She suggested we take a taxi directly to Hachiman-zaka Slope, as the bus services there are infrequent. After visiting that attraction, we could then go to other sights like Mount Hakodate, Motomachi Park, and the Red Brick Warehouses. For tomorrow morning, we could simply enjoy a sea urchin rice bowl at the Morning Market before heading off to Asahikawa, making for a relaxed trip.

A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in. While their English wasn't fluent, they could communicate in Japanese and Chinese using a translation app, and were very responsible in repeatedly confirming our reservation times. The private hot spring bath we booked was excellent in both its environment and facilities, and both the indoor and outdoor public baths offered ocean views. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the ocean-view room was enormous; we even had albatrosses visiting outside the window. The kaiseki cuisine at breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing—delicious and beautifully presented—I was extremely satisfied!

HuahuahualvlvThe hotel is close to the sea but a bit far from the JR station. The room was clean, and the triple room had enough space for three suitcases. The bedding was comfortable too. For breakfast, you can choose between a set meal or a buffet, but there's a long wait for the buffet. We opted for the set meal both days, and it was quite good. The onsen offers nice views of Hakodate, which is a plus.

You absolutely have to try the breakfast here, seriously! I'd say it's the best breakfast I've ever had. They have grilled fish, scallops, and shrimp right from the morning, along with all sorts of seafood sashimi – you can literally eat until you can't anymore. The room itself is a bit old-fashioned, a classic style, but the service overall is good. The open-air hot spring in the evening offers a truly upscale, blue-hour experience. The transportation nearby is also super convenient, with a bus stop right outside.

Tatiana AnashkoThe hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants.
However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room.
Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary.
A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly.
The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes.
Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing.

The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable.
While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
In addition, the correspondence of the odor remaining in the room is also firm, and I think it can be comfortable.
It's a hot spring, but you can get the power of the source.
It is a hot spring of great satisfaction!
