Hotels near Gujwa, Jeju City

The room was clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The location is fantastic, very close to Jeju International Airport – a taxi ride is about 50 (currency not specified, assuming local currency). It's also super close to Dongmun Market and Chilseongro Shopping Street, just a short walk away! The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helpful.

The hotel's location was quite good. An elderly gentleman was at the front desk, and check-in was incredibly simple and quick, completely hassle-free. We got checked in in no time! It was already early morning when we arrived, and the elderly gentleman was still at the front desk.

Champion hotels have a cheap price but I like the building, the rooms are clean, and have access to amenities like a water dispenser, microwave, electric kettle and it has nice and good staff and cleaning staff. I love the service. I love the room , it has a warm temperature and the location is very accessible to the market. I will choose the champion hotel next time. Initially booked this hotel as recommended by my relatives when the hotel was still fully human operated. However, it seems there was recent change in their management and there are no longer any receptionist or any human in the lobby. We had problems clarifying the hotel parking because it seems a lot of cars were parked beside the alley and roadsides of the hotel. Fortunately we are able to reach the customer service through WhatsApp and managed to get their clarification that the paid parking beside the hotel can be used and fees are waived throughout the staying period with unlimited exit. It would be better to put a clearer instructions for parking instead of just asking guest to read the unhelpful notice at the lobby whereby the parking guide doesn't show the WhatsApp number. Overall, the location is great and just at the underground shopping and walking distance to the market and black pork street. Room was clean and check in/out is easy despite it's unmanned.

We booked for the accommodation last minute so we didn’t had much of a choice with roon selection and had to pick the 4 single beds layout. The room comes with a dining room which was redundant. It has a table, mini fridge and the usual coffee/tea set. Personally, it’s a waste of space. Mattress are not the comfiest but still acceptable. Duvet is not thick and fluffy as I would prefer but that’s just me The hot water shower in the bathroom had intermitence heating which was really hard to control. One moment it’s the right temp, the next sec, it’s freezing cold. The room has an additional basin beside of the single bed which made it rather awkward. Whoever sleeping near the basin might get a sprinkle of water! Free parking in the hotel but spaces are very narrow. It’s near a big supermarket e-mart and within walking distance to Dongmun market.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and we are satisfied with the service. You need to deposit 50,000 won, and they can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. It's a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport, and the location is near Black Pork Street and a 12-minute walk to Dongmun Market and the underground shopping mall. They don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste (according to Jeju Law), but you can buy them from convenience stores nearby, and they provide used indoor slippers.

I came here on a business trip, and the room was clean and breakfast was brought directly to the room, so I ate it deliciously and rested comfortably. I plan to stay again next time I come.

This hostel was very comfortable and quite clean. However, there were no power adapters, so remember to bring your own if you're traveling internationally. Also, the slippers weren't very hygienic – it's a bit off-putting to think everyone's using the same pair. And there wasn't a separate light by the bed. Other than those points, everything else was great. They had breakfast, the front desk staff were all very nice, and the place was kept clean and tidy every day. My roommates were also really good.

The price is really affordable, but not recommended

After reading previous reviews, I was half-worried and half-excited before arriving in Jeju, but the accommodations were surprisingly good, so I'm leaving this lengthy review. First of all, I'm grateful that they assigned me a room on a mid-floor floor, close to the elevator. I opened the card key provided by the first-floor reception and was immediately impressed by the spacious room and bathroom. There was ample space to spread out my suitcase and other luggage, and I also appreciated the TV monitor right in front of the bed. There were also plenty of charging outlets, so I could charge my phone whenever I needed! There's no soap in the bathroom, so it's a good idea to bring your own disposable soap or other items. The rest of the room is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, rinse, and other amenities, making this a truly satisfying stay. The first-floor reception and lounge have vending machines stocked with cup ramen and other amenities. So, if you forgot to bring your own supplies or just want a quick bite, you can purchase them at the vending machines. In addition, they have various practical guidebooks for traveling in Jeju, so it would be nice to check them out when you're bored or have some free time. There's also a cafe next to the building that opens and closes early. I didn't use it, but I think it's worth a visit if you have extra time. Of course, public transportation is also convenient. You can take a direct bus from the airport to Jeju City Hall, and the nearby bus stop offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and other delicious options (there are tons of local favorites). You can come and stay comfortably! I guarantee it! I'd love to stay here again next time I visit for travel or business :)
