"Extremely satisfied! I'm not sure if it was because there were fewer bookings, but they upgraded my room. The bathroom facilities were also very clean. One minor drawback is that all rooms face the inner courtyard, making it easy for other guests to see who is staying where. There was also a power outage that lasted over an hour, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff were very friendly and efficiently helped arrange things like a driver."

"My stay here was not great but at the same time, not terrible. I think the property would benefit from some maintenance, upgrading, and more thorough cleaning. The room was functional and AC worked fine, but there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The walls could do with repainting, and I found dust and cobwebs in parts of the room, which made it feel like housekeeping standards could be improved. One of the biggest drawbacks was how thin the walls are. Noise travels very easily, and I could hear almost everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, including conversations, showers running, and toilets flushing. This made it difficult to relax fully at times. There was also a noticeable gap around the door, which meant insects could get into the room. I could actually see mosquitoes coming through the gap at times, which was frustrating and made it harder to keep them out. Communication could also be challenging on occasion due to the language barrier. While this is understandable in a non-English-speaking country, it sometimes made things less straightforward. Thankfully, Google Translate helped bridge the gap. My booking included breakfast, which was somewhat disappointing. On the day I managed to have breakfast at the hotel, there was no choice or variety available. The meal consisted of a bowl of noodle soup and a boiled egg, with no alternative options or buffet selection. That said, my stay wasn't terrible, and the hotel served its purpose for somewhere to sleep."

"Highly recommended! This hotel is ideally located near Wat Xieng Thong, on a street between the 'foreigner's street' (main tourist area) and the Mekong River. It's perfectly situated for convenience, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle and the noise of the riverside road. You can even watch the alms giving ceremony right from the hotel, which is an amazing advantage. It's an old house, so don't expect many modern amenities, but it has a unique, simple charm and beautiful views. The balcony opens up to lush greenery, creating a very serene atmosphere. It's perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. If you're looking for Instagram-perfect photo ops, you might want to consider other places. Breakfast is a two-minute walk to a riverside restaurant, which is quite convenient. You can book a minivan to the high-speed rail station directly from the hotel; I haven't tried for the airport, but I assume that's an option too."

"I found my experience at this hotel to be impeccable; I was very satisfied with their facilities and the environment. The hotel's location isn't too remote either. Although it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the 'foreigner street,' there are many restaurants and massage parlors nearby that offer great value for money despite their lower prices. This made me feel like I made an excellent choice. The hotel also provides every guest with a map of nearby attractions, including major landmarks in Luang Prabang and information on supermarkets and conveniences. I think this was a great touch. When I checked in, I also received a tropical welcome drink and a small fruit platter. The breakfast the next day was also excellent; they used high-quality branded butter and cheese. This shows that the hotel invests significantly in its operations, and I was quite surprised to see them using such good imported products. The only minor point worth mentioning is that I booked a king-sized bed, but because that room type was full, I was given a twin room instead. Also, some of the hotel's facilities are a little dated, but this didn't affect my stay, so I'd say it's still acceptable, given the great value it offers."

"We stayed at Monsane Villa in Luang Prabang, and the location is absolutely unbeatable! It is right in the heart of the main street, right next to the night market and right across from it. The Royal Palace, Mount Phousi, and the morning market are all within a 3-minute walk. We can even watch the morning alms-giving ceremony right outside the hotel without having to wake up early. We must highly praise the staff for their warm and thoughtful service. The lady at the front desk and bar used to be a flight attendant, she is very beautiful and provided excellent service. She kindly helped us with our luggage and called a taxi to the waterfall. The housekeeper Auntie Ni, who cleans the rooms and bathrooms, is very careful and hardworking, keeping the rooms spotless. Both staff members are outstanding and deserve great recognition. We hope the owner can consider giving them a salary raise! The hotel serves fresh coffee and bread for breakfast, and there is also delicious Lanzhou noodles nearby. It is a century-old French colonial villa, perfect for taking photos. Communication at the front desk is easy and convenient. With such a great location in the city center, the price is very affordable. Staying here is absolutely the best choice for traveling in Luang Prabang!"

"My stay in Luang Prabang this time was absolutely delightful. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both the night market and major attractions, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully every night. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and helpful, patiently assisting with any questions or issues I had. Overall, the atmosphere was peaceful and cozy, and it offered great value for money. "Hotel is OK. The staff very friendly and go out of their way to help out with everything. I got a good for my money. I had to clean the air conditioning filters, it looked like it had not been done for quite some time. Had a storm Monday day, and a few leaks in the bathroom area and on the covered deck. No problem though recommend for the budget travel. no"

"Good location and good breakfast. However, guests are not allowed to wear shoes inside the hotel, which didn’t make much sense as the floor in our room was dirty — my shoes were honestly cleaner than the floor. We also rented a scooter from the hotel, but it was given to us with an empty tank. Since it was Lao New Year, we visited around five petrol stations and found them either closed or out of fuel. One place offered petrol at 160,000 kip, which we refused since the scooter rental itself was only 190,000 kip. We decided to return the scooter, but about 1.4 km before reaching the hotel, it ran out of fuel completely. Fortunately, a kind local shop owner helped us by selling petrol in a beer bottle, which allowed us to make it back. We were quite disappointed that the scooter was provided with an empty tank during a holiday period, without any warning that petrol would be difficult to find. The hotel only refunded 120,000 kip, and overall it was not a pleasant experience. If you rent a scooter here, make sure it comes with a full tank or confirm fuel availability in advance."

"A very charming house with a spacious bathroom. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and willing to help with issues and provide information. The breakfast was delicious, with fruit, coffee, and various breads. The fried rice, in particular, received unanimous praise from my family, satisfying our Chinese palates."

"Hotel located along the Mekong riverside. Breakfast is average. Staff ”Duo” is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and speak English well. High speed train ticket can be booked here. Shuttle bus to Luang Prabang train station is available at cheaper rate. Watching Alm-giving is nearby at 6am every morning. I will come back to this hotel again in future.."
