Hotels near St. Sava Temple, Belgrade

While the decor was modern and the cleanliness satisfactory, there were many aspects of the experience that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the absence of appropriately sized cups for the coffee machine was a notable inconvenience. Despite providing coffee, the lack of corresponding cups rendered the machine unusable, which was disappointing. Additionally, the bathroom amenities were subpar, resembling cheap, generic products found in supermarkets rather than the expected quality of hotel-grade toiletries. However, what truly exacerbated our dissatisfaction was the poor service attitude demonstrated by the host. When we communicated our delayed arrival due to a flight delay, the host abruptly ended the call midway through our conversation, displaying a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Furthermore, the inconsistency regarding the checkout time was deeply frustrating. Initially informed of a 2:00 PM checkout, we were later informed of a revised time of 12:20 PM, with the host confusing the pronunciation of ‘2’ and ‘12’. During our attempts to clarify this discrepancy, the host abruptly terminated the call, leaving my girlfriend and me feeling rushed and unduly pressured to vacate the premises. Overall, while certain aspects of the accommodation were satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by inadequate amenities and unprofessional service.

10/10 for the amazing staff and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. Room is comfortable with black out shutters and curtains. Simple cooking facilities with a full size fridge which is useful for longer stays. Shower pressure is great and airconditioner works well. Windows which can be opened provides fresh air. Restaurants, cafes, bakeries (including a 24hr one), supermarkets and bus stop are all within walking distance. Location is in Zemun which is about a 35 minute free bus ride to the city of Belgrade and 15 minutes car ride to the airport.

The hotel is incredibly professional, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I found everything to be excellent. The Hilton is definitely a great choice for a trip to Belgrade. The service is top-notch, and the hospitality is exceptional.

The hotel has a wonderful location and a wonderful spa area (very welcome after a busy day in Belgrade). Delicious breakfast and a beautifully decorated breakfast room! On our first night, we were checked in to a room of a lower category than we had booked. This room had beautiful decor, high ceilings, lots of light, and a coffee machine (but no coffee capsules). The next day, after we informed them of the room category, after lunch, we were given the room we had originally paid for (superior with a sofa) on the 4th floor. However, it was less comfortable than the standard room, the walls weren't quite clean, and it wasn't as beautifully decorated as the standard room. However, there were two coffee capsules. I can note that both rooms have exceptionally clean bathrooms, very good plumbing, and hot water pressure. Upon checkout, the staff apologized for the misunderstanding with the room category, and we didn't pay the city tax or two coffees. Thank you very much for a wonderful time in Belgrade!

The service was polite. Late check-in is available since the reception operates 24/7. The room was clean and looked good. No complimentary water was provided - only paid options in the minibar. Breakfast was tasty, but if you want an espresso or cappuccino, it costs extra; filter coffee is included in the breakfast. Parking is included in the price. There are 3 free spots in front of the hotel and about 10 in a yard behind it. Street parking in front of the hotel is in a paid zone, with Sundays being free. What we didn’t like was that it was 7°C outside, and the room was quite cold. The reception told us that heating from the air conditioner is turned off by the state, so it only blows cold air and they have no alternative. We had to sleep with three blankets, which was not very pleasant.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is superb. Little draw back is that it’s really noisy during weekends as it is located in busy shopping area with parties downstairs.

If you're coming from Skadarlija Street, you'll have to drag your luggage over the cobblestone streets (taxis can't access it). The hotel entrance to the front desk is all stairs, so carrying heavy luggage is quite a challenge! (Though the staff did help me carry it.) The building is old but spacious and renovated, and the facilities were new and clean. There was instant coffee provided. I had read reviews saying there were no amenities, so I brought my own slippers, but towels were available. When I checked out, the taxi I had asked them to call didn't show up. When I returned to the hotel, it was already locked (at 11:30 AM). This is a very charming area, once known as Belgrade's Montmartre, where artists used to gather, and there were many Serbian restaurants.

There was a distinctive fragrance upon entering, which I personally disliked and found slightly unpleasant at first. However, it had an operable window, allowing for fresh air. The overall hotel was clean and tidy, with no stains on the bedding or bathroom fixtures. The breakfast was somewhat basic, and the taste didn't suit my personal preferences. Communication with the front desk was smooth in English, and any minor issues I raised were handled promptly and appropriately. The air conditioning has a preset temperature range that cannot be adjusted outside of that range. This might be a bit too cold for some guests. Important note: This is the first hotel I've stayed at in recent years that doesn't have USB ports. I recommend bringing your own power adapter. If you forget, there are places to buy them near the hotel. There are many bus routes outside the hotel (public buses in Belgrade are free). Belgrade's attractions are relatively concentrated and many are within walking distance.

What I liked most about the room was the clean floor and the small balcony. The lack of slippers in the room was a bit disappointing, but for one night it wasn't a big deal. The location is good, and both check-in and check-out were contactless. There are a couple of bars right across the street, for those interested.

This hotel is really good: the staff are friendly and helpful, the location is convenient – right in the city center, and the breakfasts are delicious – a glass of good champagne at breakfast is a definite bonus! The room has a coffee machine, a kettle, and unlimited bottled water; cleaning is thorough every day. The Michelin-starred restaurant (and it truly is) on the top floor is expensive, but the food is exquisite. Minor drawbacks: the coffee at breakfast is simply awful (I'd even read about this in other reviews) – terrible black, and even worse with milk (was it spoiled or something?) – this isn't acceptable for a 5-star hotel. Also, toothpaste is only available upon request, the shower smells musty, and there are no shelves to place toiletries. But these are all minor details; overall, I enjoyed my stay. I'll recommend it and will definitely come back next time.
