"You can walk to Central, or take the shuttle bus. It feels like a chain hotel back home. Breakfast is packed in individual boxes, a simple meal. It's conveniently located, and you can sort out lunch and dinner at Central. The price is also reasonable. Downsides: breakfast isn't a buffet, and there's no pool."

"The location is superb, right next to Nimman One and across from Maya mall, making it incredibly convenient for both dining and shopping. There's a restaurant called Nara on the ground floor with a great ambiance and delicious food, though it felt a bit pricey at 1000 RMB for a family of four. The hotel breakfast was fantastic. We stayed at Shangri-La for 5 days before coming here, and the eggs Benedict at this hotel were absolutely delicious. While the variety wasn't as extensive as Shangri-La, it felt very refined and certainly didn't fall short in quality compared to Shangri-La's breakfast. There's also a small pool on the rooftop. On our second night, we found a small gecko in the shower, but the hotel staff quickly handled it. Luckily, we're not afraid of geckos! There are many bars nearby. On the day we visited, Nimman One had a live band playing, which felt like it went on until around 1 AM. We could hear it quite clearly in our room. The hotel does provide earplugs, which would help a lot. Normally, I'm quite sensitive to noise and get annoyed and can't sleep if it's loud. But perhaps because I was on vacation and didn't have to work the next day, even with the thumping music outside, I didn't feel bothered. The band was actually quite good. The only minor complaint is that for the room type I booked, the air conditioning seemed to blow directly onto the bed. The next morning, my neck and upper back felt stiff and sore, like I'd caught a chill, although my husband was fine. The bay window is very large, and since we had two young children, each could comfortably sleep on one end. The hotel thoughtfully provided bedding for them. On our last day, we had an early flight at 6 AM and couldn't make it for breakfast, but the hotel prepared a very generous breakfast box for us, which was much appreciated."

"We stayed in the River View Deluxe Balcony room and had a wonderful stay. The room felt spacious, beautifully maintained and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, attentive and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Housekeeping also kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely à la carte selection and the option to enjoy it either in the restaurant or from the comfort of the room. The location strikes a great balance, peaceful and relaxed along the riverside, yet still within easy walking distance of the markets across the bridge. I had a wonderful stay at Sala Lanna!"

"The luckiest thing about our trip to Chiang Mai was discovering the Sannom Hotel. The environment and room facilities here are impeccable. It doesn't have the distant feel of a five-star hotel, but rather a perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. From the moment we checked in, we felt the true ease and relaxation of a holiday. All the front desk staff speak Chinese, which was such a rare and reassuring feeling to be able to speak our mother tongue in a foreign country. But even more moving than the facilities were the genuinely warm people at the hotel. Mr. Zhang, the owner, is incredibly enthusiastic and a man with many stories. From local food recommendations to travel tips, he provided invaluable, practical advice that saved us a lot of hassle and made our trip smooth sailing. What truly left an impression on us was when my partner unexpectedly got injured during our trip. In that moment of panic, Mr. Zhang and the hotel staff provided continuous support, helping us liaise with the hospital, patiently translating and communicating, and meticulously handling all the details. In a foreign country, we felt an immense sense of kindness and security that transcended any distance. Thank you, Mr. Zhang and the Sannom Hotel, for providing us with the most stable refuge and warmest care in Chiang Mai. We are grateful to have met such reliable and warm-hearted people."

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and a convenient location, with warm and attentive service, making it perfect for exploring the ancient city and its surroundings. The room facilities are well-maintained and feature charming local characteristics, which I personally loved. Special mention goes to the bedding – it was incredibly clean and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located inside the ancient city, is street-facing, and the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. Those who require a very quiet sleeping environment might want to consider this carefully. Also, the hotel offers a souvenir for leaving a review, but this promotion is only for Google Maps and doesn't include platforms like Ctrip, which is a bit disappointing."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel service was excellent. I took a two-day yoga class which was taught exceptionally well, and the hotel's massage service was top-notch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. This trip was very relaxing for both my body and mind, and I will definitely come again next time 😎. The only slight drawback was that the room was a bit humid, but there was a dehumidifier, so it was acceptable. The hotel restaurant food was also great, the coffee was good, and they even offered welcome drinks!"

The rooftop bar is cozy and good for small group sipping. The most important for me is the room., great space & cozying with super convenient. The lobby is also serve snack & drinks at all time. The location is perfect for those who love street shopping, near One Nimman mall & MAYA."
