My flight arrived quite late, so by the time I reached the hotel it was almost midnight. However, I noticed the front desk staff even came out to the entrance, waiting. A kind gentleman then escorted me to the elevator. When I got to my room, I saw the windows were already open for ventilation, and the room itself was clean and tidy. I really have to mention the breakfast – it was incredibly varied and the service was excellent; they promptly cleared away finished dishes. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the ferry, which can take you to other parts of Istanbul. The view from the breakfast balcony is also lovely. At night, when I was using navigation to find the hotel, I realized Google Maps tended to give incorrect directions around the elevated areas near the subway. I successfully found the hotel by also using Yandex Maps. The views from the ferry are fantastic.

I stayed at this hotel in the Kadıköy area for two nights. I chose it mainly for the price and location — it was the cheapest hotel within walking distance of the metro, ferries, and the main nightlife area of the district. I didn’t really have any expectations. The location is actually quite convenient — everything is within walking distance, just as planned. The street itself is not the nicest one, but it doesn’t feel unsafe either. The area feels generally safe. The only exception is the presence of beggars, but that’s a common issue in Kadıköy overall. Check-in was quick and smooth. The staff speaks English reasonably well. The room is small, no more than about 10 square meters, with rather old furniture and fixtures. However, the room was clean — fresh bed linen including a duvet with a cover, clean floors, and a very clean bathroom. Everything in the bathroom worked well. Hot water was stable and without surprises. Towels, a hairdryer, toilet paper, and a 2-in-1 shower gel were provided. One downside was the very noisy ventilation fan — the sound was quite annoyingly loud. I was a bit worried about mold or insects, which can sometimes be an unpleasant surprise in budget accommodation, but everything was fine here. It was quite cool outside during my stay, but the heating radiator in the room worked so well that I actually had to turn it off. The room rate includes a simple buffet breakfast: French fries, a small selection of pastries, boiled eggs, sausages, cheese, cold cuts, olives, vegetables, and cereal. Good tea is served with breakfast. Coffee comes from an automatic machine and the milk is powdered. One unpleasant issue: my room could not be locked from the inside — the key would not turn in the lock, only the latch worked. As an experienced traveler, I left a few small “trap markers” before going out for the day — none of my belongings were touched. Overall, my impression is positive. The hotel is worth the price.

Good hotel location. Big and beautiful room. Though toilet size is small. Poor pressure from rain headshower and no place to hang showerhead above the head. No glass to put toothbrush. No proper place to put clean tower except at below sink which is near to the floor (kinda dirty to put it there). FYI, This hotel only has 1 lift and long queue time especially during breakfast time. Almost got kicked out of my room (standard room) and changed to economy room by Weingart management due to some events and prolly not enough room for them, eventhough I have booked way early, however, trip.com has assisted me to maintain my room after a long consultation. Big thumbs up by trip.com customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying at Karakoy area and wont be facing the same issue as above from their management.

It’s ok for those who is only thinking about sleep at night but nothing else. They moved us from our first existing room to the other small room for an excuse that they will do some work on the room but the very next day or the immediate day we don’t even know there is another guest apparently came.we paid for bigger room but end up in a small bedroom which was not fair.Power plug has no electricity, walls are cracked all the amenity is way too old I feel like I am living in a musium. However I got what I paid for and that’s how I can convince myself.Thank you Turkey and will see u next time.

The hotel is centrally located to most tourist attractions. The area is safe and has lots of restaurants one can make use of. The room was clean and they do daily cleaning. For a solo traveller the rooms were comfortable and reasonable size. Thank you Murat, Omer and Mohamed, they went extra mile to recommend places to visit.  I didn’t choose the break  fast option, so I can’t provide much information on that. But overall I would recommend this place.

I can recommend this place, but with some reservations. Outside my door, there was a strong smell of cat urine and the floor was sticky for two nights, suggesting that the cleaning wasn't done properly. The room has a small window, but it's not very useful as it faces directly onto a wall with water and electrical pipes, providing no real ventilation. On the other hand, the inside of the room generally remains clean. However, I could hear people going up and down the stairs from my room.

Great staff, good value, but breakfast and noise could be better The staff was very friendly. Especially the housekeeping staff – he always asked if we needed new towels and every day if we wanted our room cleaned. So I don’t understand the negative reviews about cleanliness at all. Location and value for money were great. It’s a safe area for women, right by Taksim Square. There are some areas nearby that don’t feel as safe, but around the hotel there were lots of hotels, restaurants, small minimarkets, exchange offices, and the metro and bus are within walking distance. The Havabus stop is only a 5-minute walk away, which is another big plus. What we didn’t like:   The breakfast was very repetitive – it was the same every day, and we stayed 8 nights. Also, the doors are quite thin, so you can hear other guests and the cleaning staff early in the morning. The rooms could be better equipped – two bedside tables instead of one, and a proper desk would help. Overall: We were very satisfied apart from the last two points. We would stay here again.

Great
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet. The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless. We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room. However, after the lobby boy led us to the room, he told us smoking wasn't allowed. We had to call the front desk again to clarify, wasting another 15 minutes in back-and-forth communication. Ultimately, we had to compromise and switch rooms. Plus, my parents' room wasn't even on the same floor as mine. However, I'm very grateful for the bellhop's help and detailed explanations. It's a shame we arrived at the airport too late that day and didn't have cash for a tip.

Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
