"A family of three booked a twin room, which was really good: the room was big, there was a small dressing room outside the bathroom, and there was a kitchen in the room, with a refrigerator, gas stove, kettle, pots, pans, dining table and chairs! It was no problem to make a simple breakfast and dinner in the room! The hotel is on campus, and it is convenient to take the subway to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, museums...! The only downside is that the refrigerator in the kitchen is a little loud, which may affect if you don't sleep well, but it doesn't affect you much if you are tired after a day of playing! Overall, it feels great!"

"We arrived early and were greeted at the door, got checked in promptly, and doorman carried out bags to room. The view was beautiful, room comfortable, bathroom/ shower relaxing. We dined several meals both breakfast, dinner, and even mid-afternoon. Service prompt and food delicious. Staff very welcoming. Front desk helped us with sightseeing, restaurant suggestions, and very informative. A great location with all amenities!"

"The hotel is not your typical dimension but it was clean and the mattress + pillows are one of the best I have slept on. The location was good as it was close to Metro, White House, Lincoln memorial, and Georgetown (walking around 20 mins). There is also a Metro station close by. However, it’s far away from the convention center though, you will need to take a taxi or Uber to get there. The one suggestion I have is to provide kettle for hot water in the room as well as bottle waters. Most of the reception reps are very helpful and cheerful, only the grave yard shift reception lady is not in a good mood (I know it’s grave yard shift…but). The elevator needs some improvement as well since it’s very slow… (I’m not sure it’s because of the elevator manufacturer or because of the old building)."

"The decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite. It takes about ten minutes to get to the station."

"Overall was a great stayed. Walked in the hotel right hand side was a bar. Also a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel offered valet parking for a fee. (Shop around for parking near by) I picked this hote was walkable and near by Foggy Bottom Metro station very convenient. Uber took about fifteen minutes to Washington DC museum area. Check in was very efficient. Unfortunately we got in some issues regarding for this booking. Long story short, a manager Mahmoud C was very patient and professional to resolve the issues for us. It was not what we wanted but there was no other better choice. We only stayed one night in The Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained. It was very comfortable."

"The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and spoke to us so gently. When we asked for makeup remover wipes, she brought them to our room immediately! The room itself was spacious and tidy, and the mirror with Bluetooth connectivity was super convenient. The AC was already on when we entered, making the room perfectly cool. At night, the bed was so comfortable we fell asleep instantly and slept soundly until morning. It felt like the best bed in all of Washington! The room price and value for money were absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Washington!"

"The entrance is a little hard to find. I wasn't sure if it was a hotel or a club. After taking the old elevator and going through a narrow corridor, I found my room. It was a non-smoking room, and there was a parking lot outside the window. The room was very small, and there was barely any space to open my suitcase. It wasn't particularly dirty, but it was very old and dim. A big fly-like insect came out of the room. It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station. This is the only cheap hotel close to the city. If you're traveling by car, I recommend the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel, even though it's far from the station. It's not easily accessible by bus or train, but you can enjoy a clean and spacious room for a little more money than this hotel."

"The hotel's location is great, right in the town center and close to attractions. You can walk to the White House and other sights within 20 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel's downstairs restaurant is also good. Breakfast was decent and quite varied, though you need to ask a server for coffee and other drinks. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the room itself is quite spacious. Overall, it offers good value for money."

"The room didn't have a bathtub. The room was big and seemed clean. I wish they'd give us more stuff. There wasn't even a bottle of water (wonder if that's how it is everywhere in the US?) The lights were kinda dim at night, and it could use some more. The breakfast was yummy! I love that there were convenient stores like Walgreens and CVS very close by, and they're open until 11 pm."
