The pool and spa area were great and we made full use of them during our short stay. 16:00 is however too early to close the pool to kids at what is marketed as a family hotel. Many families want a quick dip after a day out. 17:30 would be more acceptable. The bar area was a bit dated and nothing special. Dinner was a real highlight though - the food was lovely and the service great. Breakfast was also very enjoyable and service was good. The main disappointment of our trip was however our room. We had the basic comfort room but didn’t expect it to be that basic for the price. It served its purpose but it wasn’t somewhere we wanted to spend anymore time in than necessary. All in all we had a nice time but definitely felt we had paid too much for it. We have had better value for money at other hotels.

We used a Wellness weekend coupon. The room was average with a heavy, winter comforter - too hot for sleeping. Our dinner was excellent while service extremly poor. Table set for two courses. Courses came very slow and third course came without utensils. Had to chase down a server to get utensils. With meal service so slow we deciede to take expresso in bar, however, finding no one to serve us in the bar we gave up. At breakfast we ordered an omelete and pancakes, ,after waiting forever, asked what happened. After a bit the omelete and pancakes showed up with an appology.

Lovely location, calm and tranquil, beautiful surroundings, but the hotel in itself is not that special and is über exaggerated in terms of price. We paid €160 for a basic room, which did not include breakfast (that’s an additional €20pp). This price also allowed spa entrance from 16:00 on the day of arrival, and between 10:00-12:00 on day of check out. If you want to arrive/stay on longer, it’s an extra €20pp, per day. Dinner was booked for 20:00, so we did not really have a lot of pamper time, although the pool and steam room were both wonderful; a short, but relaxing experience and this was the main purpose of our visit. On top of that, unfortunately we had a dreadful night’s sleep: the room was too hot, the bedding too heavy, we had the window open all night and no bedcovers on us. Dinner was mixed:one of us loved the choices made, the other less so. Wine was good and the service excellent. In short, however, we feel that we paid far too much for a pretty unimpressive stay.

Great, quiet location with many good walking tours around. Probably also nice biking tours in the warmer months. Lovely but at times very busy pool and sauna area. Mostly friendly staff, especially at the restaurant. Very good food, amazing opportunities/play rooms to keep the kids busy! A bit pricey though if you must pay for an entire separate room for the kids…

Das Deluxe-Doppelzimmer ist ziemlich klein und verfügt (innen) über keinen Tisch, an dem sitzen könnte. Auch das Bad ist wenig geräumig. Der Seifenspender des Waschbeckens befindet sich hinter (!) der Eingangstür. Der Balkon ist sehr klein und mit völlig verwitterten Holzmöbeln ausgestattet (Bild). In das Zimmer kommt nur jeden zweiten Tag Servicepersonal. Das Abendessen im Rahmen der Halbpension lässt ein akzeptables Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vermissen. An der Vorspeise (Buffet mit Antipasti) sollte man sich satt essen, denn danach folgt nicht mehr viel. Insbesondere der Hauptgang ist extrem übersichtlich. Der Spa-Bereich ist ordentlich.

Eingebettet zwischen Waldrand und dem kleinen Ort Langweiler bietet das Hotel einen idealen Ort zur Auszeit und Erholung. Die Mischung von altem Klosterambiente und moderner Zweckmäßigkeit wirkt weder aufdringlich noch künstlich. Der Spa-Bereich mit Schwimmbad und hochwertigen Saunen bietet ausreichend Ruheräume und überzeugt zudem mit großzügigen Öffnungszeiten. Qualität ist auch ein Merkmal des Restaurants, Frühstücksbüffet inbegriffen. Zur Abrundung empfiehlt sich ein Besuch der ganztägig geöffneten Bar. Und das stets zuvorkommend freundliche Personal trägt selbstverständlich seinen Teil zum Wohlfühlen in diesem Haus bei, wie wir es über Ostern erleben konnten. Ein Ort, der nach Wiederkehr ruft.

Schönes Haus, gute Lage, toller Swimming Pool. Die Zimmer sind nicht unbedingt groß aber ausreichend für 1 bis 2 Übernachtungen. Auch werden die Zimmer nicht jeden Tag hergerichtet und geputzt. Der Service der Rezeption ist einwandfrei. In der Bar muss man das Personal suchen, ist auch nur sporadisch geöffnet. Im Restaurant ist der Service eher nachlässig. Der Geschmack der Speisen ist nicht gleich bleibend gut.
