The stay was pleasant. Checkin was easy, staff was nice and respectful, and daily breakfast was delicious! The bathroom floor was not as clean as I would’ve liked, but other than that I was satisfied with the stay.

This place was great! It's got a lot of character, and the staff were super friendly. We especially were delighted at the free soup and hot towels available. There was a game room that we spent time in as a family playing games and putting together a puzzle. We also found a piano upstairs that my son enjoyed playing.
There is an attached restaurant with even more character, I loved it! It felt like you were walking into an old English inn. The food was delicious, and service was excellent. I'd definitely stay here and eat here again!

What a charming hotel. It has been updated and the rooms are a nice size neatly decorated. It has wood floors in the room which I feel are much cleaner. The bed in my room was comfortable.i would stay here again.

Everything was excellent, except . . . there was almost no hot water when I went to take a shower at 9am. I had to take a semi-cold shower.
Maybe a whole bunch of people took a shower in the hotel before me and drained all the hot water out of the boiler.
Maybe they need a bigger boiler.

This was our second stay at the hotel. It is really wonderful and the breakfast is over the top delicious and plentiful. Our room on the second floor was spacious and well appointed but the bathroom floor was not well slept or mopped . The towels are nice and thick though and of high quality. The bed had a couple of hairs on the sheets and one pillow case was turned inside out . Other than that the stay was great. I would definitely speak to housekeeping about upping their game .

Difficult to find hotel in the dark. Rather convoluted building with many entrances. Many stairs. I did not see an elevator, so difficult for anyone handicapped. Breakfast excellent-one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. Rooms clean, beds very firm. Different but very nice. Excellent staff.
