"The grounds were great and very relaxing. Staff were helpful and polite. However the cleanliness could be improved, room smelled like carpets that had not been cleaned for a long time."

"We stayed for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary.. Our room was comfortable with a lovely big shower and decent products. The lighting was a little dark which is my only grumble about the room. There’s plenty of soft drinks, warm beverages and snacks included. All of the staff were lovely, friendly and very professional. We ate at the Garden house on the first night which was really nice but very expensive for what it was. Also the wine list, all of the wines are very expensive.. don’t get me wrong we like good wine and eat out a lot at very nice restaurants but most restaurants do have some more reasonably priced wine as well as fine wines.. this is not the case here apart from one bottle of unknown cheaperwine at £60 plus - most bottles were well in excess of £120 Also when we arrived for dinner there were no seats left outside so we asked if we could move from inside as soon as a table became available and the manager said yes of course. Another couple came to dine inside about half an hour after us and we saw them ask to be moved as someone left and they were moved and we were left inside on our own. They even knew that it was our anniversary as they did a lovely wooden board with a brownie and chocolate writing which was very sweet but I’d have thought that knowing this plus us asking first that we would be moved first. Any how we eventually were moved so we could have our pudding outside as we spoke to our lovely waitress about it. A senior member of staff came over to apologise to us and removed the pudding cost from the bill which was a nice touch.. it did all cloud our experience though. We had lovely treatments in the beautiful spa. We sat by the pool on our second day which was heavenly. We had fabulous weather, comfy loungers and great pool service. We are ate at Mrs Beeton’s the second night which is more like pub grub. I had delicious potted crab then fish and chips which were all delicious. The prices here were more ‘normal’ even though this restaurant seemed more like a pub. We had a lovely stay but beware we did the express checkout and when we handed the key back we asked if we could get a copy of the bill and was told we’d receive it via e mail. We did not receive it despite my husband e mailing 3 times and he only received it when he submitted the survey and asked yet again for it.. It’s a beautiful venue, with stunning extensive grounds and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the niggles I have mentioned."

"Clean and tidy, not noisy, and very close to the airport. You can take the number 100 bus from the airport bus station, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel entrance. The only downside is that the shower drain is a bit slow."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable visit, though unfortunately, there was a stain on my pillow when I checked in. Navigating the hotel with suitcases was also terribly inconvenient; my room was on the third floor, but access was poor, even with the elevator. The staff were unhelpful—no one greets you when you walk in. They are busy with "more important" things, like pretending to work at their computer screens. The service was nonexistent. There was a small gym where you could get a basic workout in. The room had a great shower with good water pressure and clean water. Location-wise, you can even walk to Tesco. To get to the airport, you need to order a taxi or take the bus—it’s just a one-stop ride."
