The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape wrapping it in a tranquil atmosphere. It’s quiet and quant. The owner is welcoming, kind, and funny. He seemingly goes out of his way to make a great experience for you. He spoke English for us and native Italian for my Italian friends. The room is very clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. The bed is comfortable too! The hotel restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and we had the most delicious dinner followed by outstanding tiramisu. The young staff was attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant. Don’t miss this one!

Absolute gem of a place. Very convenient but you need a car. Upon checking in the owner gave us perfect instructions on parking in Levanto and taking the train to the Cinque Terre towns. The hotel location is nestled in a quiet mountain forest area, so beautiful with free parking. Highly recommend this place. The only regret we have is we never set up time to eat at the owners restaurant located on property. Heard very good things.

Beautiful property only a 15 min drive down to train station with easy access to all Cinque Terre villages. We were looking forward to eating at the Michelin award restaurant but be aware they close restaurant on sun and mon the days we were there. When we arrived, we got a great reception and info from one of the owners which helped us a lot but absolutely zero support after this. No one around on the property to help after our initial check in. When we had a problem with the tv, we called them and they said “why do you need tv, this is not a 4 star hotel”- this was rude but we still enjoyed our stay as property is modern and in beautiful setting.

wonderful hotel near levanto. located in the forest in beautiful sorounding. the owner is very charm and welcome any request. we came for one night and stayed 3. the hotel is very good to get to the train station to cinque terra

Surrounded by nature, this boutique hotel is only a few minutes from the highway, and herein lies the surprise. My single room was huge, with a double bed, a very large bathroom, and a delightful veranda. It seems too sweet a set up for the low price I paid. I highly, higly reccommend it. Marcello Sorrentino

This was our second stay at the Hotel Abetaia, and the experience was as great as the first time. The hotel is very comfortable and ideally located in a forest not far from Levanto ; it is very quiet, easy to get to from the Autostrada and very convenient to get to Levanto and catch the train to visit the Cinque Terre. The personel is very friendly and caring, and will provide great advice regarding things to do and places to go to. There is also a great restaurant where you can enjoy the evening with some delicious Italian food. Be sure to stay several nights so you can have a go at the different deserts on the menu, they are all amazing! And the owner has also some great Italian wines for you to discover. This is one of these great places you want to keep as your little secret, but it's even too good for that! We can(t wait to get back there and visit another part of the Ligurian coast.
