The room was clean and tidy but starting to show its age. Close to the centre of the town so easy walking to many things.

Enjoyed our stay room kept cool with fans and AC, a bit dated inside but clean and tidy! Would stay again and recommend to our friends ! Was close to the bowling club and all attractions!

The facilities are clean and i think very good for a more isolated area. Bar and bistro made it a good option for this area.

The rooms are a little dated but adequate and have updated bathrooms. The pub and bistro that form part of the property are great and very convenient.

The room itself was tidy. It did smell strongly of surface spray/fly spray upon arrival that took ages to dissipate with the use of the ceiling fan and an open window. When we used the shower and the hot water hit the drain, holy hell did it reek. A smell of sewage made the shower unusable for our stay. That being said, the food at the bistro at the motel was delicious with generous to large servings. The people in the town were pretty chilled out and we felt safe and welcomed. Just wish the room matched the rest of our experience in Lightning Ridge. It really was a let down, especially considering the price

Love the place and its like it hasn't changed, which is a great thing. I havent been home to lightning Ridge for 25 years as i left after finishing highschool in "97".
Have some great memories of this place . Nobbies was the go to in the 90's.
