Perfectly located for all amenities

It was a very nice hotel. My room was inviting, comfortable and very clean. The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep right away and every day the room was cleaned thoroughly. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant served excellent food and had an extensive menu. We were traveling as part of a surgical mission team and spent long days at the hospital. It was so relaxing and refreshing to return to the hotel and the restaurant stayed open late to accommodate us on multiple occasions. The hotel was one of the nicest and most memorable parts of our trip.

Beautifully landscaped grounds right in the middle of the action of downtown Lilongwe. The room was small but very well decorated and had view of the gardens. Plus fridge, kettle and good wifi (for Malawi!). I walked 1/2 km to a mall and grocery store to stock up on provisions for my trip to Lake Malawi. The staff was helpful and there was a nice swimming pool. My only complaint is why is the restaurant buried in a dark back room when the hotel is littered with beautiful gardens to look at? The food and restaurant staff were great though.

The room was very good, and the overall look and feel of the place was comfortable. The chefs were good but the selection of food available was limited. The staff was very helpful.

Rooms and property was in need of updating. Dinner took sooo long and was not quality food

Sunbird Lilongwe _October 2025 Dette er mitt andre opphold på Sunbird Lilogwe. Det er et hyggelig hotell, med meget velstelt hage og uteområde. Rent og pent, både i felleslokaler og på rommet. Effektiv inn og utsjekk, og høflig og hyggelig betjening. Min eneste "negative" bemerkning er at det tok uforholdsmessig lang tide mellom bestilling og servering på restauranten. men maten var god! (Det finnes andre restauranter i nærheten.)
