First Camp Sibbarp-Malmo

We have been with at sibbarp several times, always been satisfied, this time things have happened. Seems like a complainer here who is never satisfied, but you have a great campsite that deserves a little more maintenance and supervision. This time the cleanliness of the service houses was poor, stuck chewing gum on the walls of the shower over several days, when you enter the campsite in the evening it is pitch black, all the bulbs in the floodlights by the booms are out. Looks unwelcoming. In one toilet, the light flickered for several days without the bulb being changed. We got stuck with the motorhome on the grass as it was wet, at the reception they say you can fend for yourself instead of being accommodating to make suggestions. The employee is on the phone at the same time as serving customers, and goes into the back room in the middle of the payment and continues the conversation when customers are at the reception. I think everyone wants it to work, but probably miss a manager who takes some control down there. In the one service point where gray water is emptied and the mobile home toilet is emptied, paper was not refilled for the last 4 days, nor was it cleaned here. We have been to several first camp sites where the facilities are spotless, and most of them are great for families and couples.

We stayed at the cabin Limhamngata, which I would not recommend, very small and old. However, other cabins might be better. The campsite itself is very nice and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately everything closed after 18.00 hours so you could not buy, book, reserve, eat or ask anything.

First camp is around 30% more expensive than competition that has far better service. There was no warm water, many showers were out of order, but there was no warning about that, so I spent around 10 mins finding functioning shower, just to find out there was no warm water in any of them.

the place we were assigned was horrible. a tramp lived around us in a caravan. not really a camping place for tourists. The campsite was freely accessible from various places, which caused an unsafe feeling. Several people live permanently on this campsite. there were also refugees who also used the sanitary and cooking facilities. that made it extra busy. As a tourist I am not waiting for that.

Always cold water to shower, bad quality of showers, few toilets mixed up men/women. Rest was good. Located near the city, good location to go by bike to the city. Big places and enough space on the spot.

We spent two nights at the camping. Arrived at the reception, the girl that there was at the desk told us that the prices were different from the ones on the website (too high for a piece of grass with no electricity). We couldn’t sleep because of the loud music that there was at the festival nearby (not told us about it by the receptionist) Even though the bad experience, the place was clean and well kept.

The sanitary was not very clean. We paid about 1300 kr for just a big open simple grass field. Right next to the (i really hope temporary) sanitary. In the sanitary was just a thin shower curtain. Not a lot of privacy. Wifi wasn’t working att all.

Went for a night and was not happy. Poor, mudy pitch with no sun light, short warm shower and all this with cost of 500sek (47€). Would have even paid extra if they had offered a better pitch. Now there’s a lots of nice pitches empty and they made sure this was our first and last time here.

During our stay both 2 latrine emptying stations were either out of order or clogged, dirty abd not usable. The situation of the camping is beautiful at the sea, a little too far from the city center.
