When I arrived the door was locked. A message said they would send me a mail with instructions to get in. I NEVER RECEIVED THE MAIL. Some clients were going out so they allowed me in, and told me the reception was at the 1st floor. Once there the lady send me back saying check in would be at 16:30. I had to wait 4 hrs in the street. When I returned I followed all the instructions to get in the room (code for the key). The room was so poor and very small. Inside was hot but AC did not work. I opened the small window but what I saw was horrible. Furthermore nearby the hotel there's nothing. It was really a bad choice. I would not recommend this place.

They had bed bugs but we couldn’t get a refund and were left very uncomfortable.

Tragedy... I booked a double room with 2 separate beds, I received a room with 1 bed. For 3 days the receptionist has been saying that I will receive the room I booked the next day and each time it turns out that there is no room. They took money from me, knowing that they could not provide me with the room I had booked. Every day I am lied to that tomorrow I will receive what I should have on the first day! Cleanliness - a tragedy. The corridor stinks. I've traveled half the world, but I've never seen anything like this. The reception is behind bars - most likely because my case is not something new, talking to other guests, such situations are the norm here. I don't know why booking or the Lisbon authorities don't respond. This is a scam. Of course, I will report the matter wherever possible and they will ask for a refund of the cost of stay.

Reading a lot of these reviews I guess that I was luckier than I thought at the time. Let's deal with the positives first. The hotel is easy to get to from the airport. Take the metro from the airport to Saldanha on the same red line. From the station it's a relatively short walk to the hotel. My room was pretty clean too, spacious and quiet. However the bed was very hard, and the pillows totally inadequate. In order to sleep I had to use three of them. These are all small things. However the situation with the Reception is just weird. It is NEVER open. They have a grille across it at all times. When I arrived I had somethings to sort out with them and I did not take kindly to being screamed at to get out. This is no way to treat paying guests. Then they decided the next day to charge me tax. They kept ringing me ad ringing me, but every time I went down to try to pay, the grille was across and nobody was there. Even when I found someone there the next day they would NOT open the grille, and I had to feed the money through it! What is their problem? I have stayed in many budget hotels across Europe, and I'm afraid that the staff are the rudest and most unhelpful I have encountered yet,

We stayed for one night as a short notice quick trip to Lisbon from the Algarve. Location is good. There is a bus stop by the front door and the bus from there will have you at the Main Square in 15 to 20 minutes. Price was very good - approx 50 euro on a Sunday night for a family of 4 for a room with 5 full size single beds and an ensuite shower room. It did the job for one night very nicely but I probably wouldn't like to stay for more than a couple. We've stayed at worse places and have learned not to look too closely. The room was pretty clean although as i said we didnt look too closely. There was some chewing gum under my bedside shelf which i took off so I didn't have to look at it. The beds were comfy. The shower and toilet worked. The TV did not. There was decent free wifi. There was strangely no bin. The window and shutters kept the light out wonderfully but not the noise! You get what you pay for and as I say it did the job nicely for us.

Booked three rooms. All were dirty . Fittings were broken . Bathroom had fungus on the walls and roof. It was stinking . Unfit to live . Tried leaving within an hour Called the management to get the basics addressed - air conditioning to work , both the toilet seat down etc . Wait was almost three hours They had screws in the door sockets to prevent the safety bolt from being locked - very suspicious and never seen that . Could not get a refund so just kept it and used alternative

I dont have much to say. Rude staff that weren’t the least cooperative when we told them our room stank og sewer and fungus. The smell was almost unbearable and we had the worst night of sleep in a long long time. Watch out if you get room number 206.
