Lovely and friendly staff. Always willing to go above and beyond. Would be happy to stay with you again. Clean and comfortable room. Slept well. Breakfast was lovely, hot and plenty to choose from. Thankyou. For helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Absolutely fab hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough! Room with views to die for of the Mersey and the eye. Recommend the breaky- busy but food maintained and hot. Would stay again!

Great hotel, in the Albert Dock, close to Liverpool One. Big rooms, clean. - No AC in room

Location perfect for the M&S arena and the sights of the docks and pier head. If you are looking to fall out of a bar for a stag or hen do then back to hotel then this is a bit of a walk from Concert square or the Baltic triangle. Room was massive double with a sofa. Walk in shower. No bath. Fine for our stay but if you like a soak after a day of walking around the city either sight seeing or shopping then a room with a bath may be available on request but I don't know. The breakfast is brilliant. Lots of cereal to choose from, porridge, scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon, sausages (vegan ones available on request), fruit, yoghurt, muffins, croissants fruit juice and make your own teas and coffee

This was a great hotel right next to The Beatles Story in The Albert Dock. Great location for exploring and lots of places to eat nearby. Staff very friendly, good choice for breakfast. No parking at the hotel, did manage to park right outside, but at.£20 per night that was another £60 we weren't expecting.

Nice hotel to stay especially if u have daily event/ xtvt in Albert Dock area. Located in walking distance to all the attraction places in Liverpool. Quite near to the main bus station where can connected to all places u want to go. Only the rates become very expensive for weekends. We have to move out for the cheaper one

Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast not bad at all but less choices. However, the location and the historical characteristics are impressive.

Staff were all really friendly and helpful. My room was amazing, with a view over the Mersey to Birkenhead, and across the docks to the Big Wheel and the M&S Bank Arena. The location is really good, as nothing in the city centre is more than a 25 minute walk away, and there's so much to do along the waterfront. One entrance leads onto the Albert Dock which looks amazing at night as it is lit up by fairy lights, so it's a really nice route to take into the city centre when walking. Breakfast was great, with lots of sweet and savoury options. Guests were asked to book a time slot for breakfast at check in which meant it was less busy and therefore more enjoyable. The breakfast area is in the lobby and has views over the Albert Dock and the Mersey (from different windows). My bed was very comfortable, and tea and coffee were provided. A few more plug sockets by the beds would be good for chargers, but there are plenty in the rest of the room. Overall, I had a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend the Holiday Express Inn for people looking to stay in a historic and central site in Liverpool.
