The Jesmond Dene – St Pancras Hotel Group Reviews

First time in London and it is a very convenient place for transport to Paris which it’s my next stop. The area has pretty much everything, restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores just a block away. We took metro to Oxford street and Regent street then took the bus back. Only the room here is small I guess because it’s right in the city …… also try to grab coffee in the morning but the machine is out of order and they don’t have people fixed it….. otherwise this is a nice place to stay in.

Hotels near the train station, tourist attractions are more convenient.

Probably because of the location, the room is small, and the price/performance ratio is poor. The front desk and the room are located in two places, similar to a building with different units. In short, I will not choose this hotel again in the future

The room is very small...and not very soundproof... It's better than the location.

There is no air conditioning in the room, and you need to climb narrow and steep stairs. It is not recommended to live with luggage.

Excellent location as is close to the train and underground station. The room was very good and met our expectations. We arrived so early but were able to leave our luggage. We had to leave very early so the option for the check-out was very convenient for us.

Was expecting something a little ‘grungy’ so near to the main stations - was I wrong! This is an outstanding hotel: the room, although compact was beautifully decorated and looked as though everything was new. The little bathroom efficiently provided a toilet, basin, and shower, and the hotel provided complimentary coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The location was very quiet and within 5 minutes walking distance of St Pancras and King’s Cross mainline stations and underground. The staff were very helpful and friendly, check in and check out were very easy. I highly recommend The Jesmond Dene to anyone looking for a convenient but quiet location with access to dining and major transport in the area.

We liked the room but we had booked 3 single beds and got a double and a single ! The room was clean and well maintained. The staff we saw we polite and helpful.

We were welcomed by lovely staff who took us to our apartment and gave us some handy hints for tourists. Really friendly. The apartment suited us as a family of 5. Kitchen facilities meant we could have breakfast before we left. Thanks for a great stay

Hotel is OK. Small rooms and beds probably below average from a comfort stand pointy. Location is pretty good. Friendly and kind staff.

Convenient to King Cross/St Pancreas Station. Room very small but served its purpose.

It was fine for what we needed which was a late night arrival base with a 4:00am next day start on Eurostar. The guy checking us in could not of been more friendly and helpful which was nice.

It was as expected. Cheap and cheerful at the top of several flights of stairs BUT they did take both my bags up to my room without being asked so extra points there!

This hotel was perfect for a nights stay. Our room was at the top of the Hotel, we had 2 single beds and 1 double bed, the room was spotless clean, the bathroom was new and clean and had LED lights in the shower. The room had a TV and Tea and coffee. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and check in was fast. If you don't mind the stairs to the top of the hotel, this is a perfect place to stay. We had a early morning train to catch at St Pancreas station. So we explored the area the evening before, lots of food places at St Pancreas and nice to explore, plus if you want to check in early its 25.00 pounds. The only down side was we had to leave so early. Thanks for a great stay.
