no heating, it's really cold in the rooms, dirty duvet covers (changed on request), muffled noise that goes on constantly even at night, thin wall you can always hear everything, very small room, tiny single bed but excellent location and pleasant staff

Don't ask too much for this location, otherwise it will be a very expensive hotel. The room is indeed small, and the bathroom is acceptable and clean. I didn't want to take a shower at first, but I changed my mind after seeing it.

Negative: the hotel is very old, corridors and rooms are very narrow, but functional. Don't expect great luxury. It was relatively clean, but due to the old hotel (ancient carpet), it is difficult to keep anything clean. Relatively typical for London standards. Unfortunately, very few storage options.
Positive: the location was great! Quick access to Kings Cross underground station, but still very quiet. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. There was a hairdryer, shower gel, fresh towels every day and even a "German" socket and a small TV. Totally fine for the price.

I only stayed for one day, but I'm satisfied because it's reasonably priced and not far from the museum. Recommended if you are traveling alone.

Staff excellent and the service,, rooms are very small OK for 1 night,, fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, but wasn't the hotels fault some numpty was smoking in the room
