Was my first time stating at this particular Premier Inn Hub, having used Hubs in the past and been very impressed, I was disappointed with this stay. The room located in the basement had issues with the AC and Shower, on the first night the AC stopped working, meaning the room got very warm and stuffy, leading to a poor nights sleep. When I went to get a shower, there were two options, scalding one and scalding two! I reported this to reception first thing, along with requesting a towel change, when I returned 8 hours later, the used towels had not been replaced, the AC still not working and the shower thermostat also still broken. I went back to reception and the staff member was apologetic, gave me some fresh towels and said that the AC would be reset centrally and someone would come to look at the shower. The shower was fixed, but the AC started to blast heat out, so I had to go back again to get this looked at, it did go back to cold, but it must have tripped the electrics in the room, as at one point all the lights went off, and the AC then went back to a trickle. This led to another warm, stuffy and uncomfortable night. I did request to change rooms at one point, but was told this was not possible due to the hotel being fully booked. This won't stop me using Hubs again in future, as I hope it is a one off, but unlikely to come back to the Shoreditch venue.
