Our recent experience at this hotel left us deeply dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to share our unfortunate encounter. To put it bluntly, the room we were provided was a minuscule. A bed and a narrow passage were the extent of the available space, leaving us disheartened and claustrophobic from the very beginning.
Adding to the disappointment was the unpalatable demeanor of the staff. A gentleman named Jeremiah, in particular, left a lasting negative impression. We were taken aback when he abruptly called us to demand a 15-pound late check-out fee, citing a policy that was never communicated during our check-in. This lack of transparency was disconcerting.
Rather than offering a solution, he insisted that it was our responsibility to familiarize ourselves with *******'s T&Cs. When challenged to provide evidence of this policy on their website, he fumbled, failing to locate the information he claimed was readily available. To add insult to injury, his response to our urgency, as we had a flight to catch, was callously dismissive "you will lose your flight."
Seeking intervention from Jeremiah's manager, Svetlana, proved equally fruitless. Instead of addressing the unprofessional conduct of her staff, she chose to defend Jeremiah's aggressive behavior. Her unwillingness to acknowledge the hotel's failure to communicate essential information and her redirection of blame
onto us for not meticulously reading *******'s T&Cs was disheartening.
Cannot recommend regrettably.
