It seems that there is no breakfast, so it is a good hotel in the surrounding area. Because I need to print a lot of documents when meeting customers, they are all printed at the hotel. It is very convenient to have a computer and a printer.

The Super 8 Mundelein is located in beautiful Lake County IL Chicagos Neighbor to the North. We are minutes from Six Flags Great America Gurnee Mill Mall and Historic Long Grove Village. The Super 8 Mundelein is near the Chain of Lakes Great Lakes Naval Academy and Cueno Museum and Gardens. Vernon Hills Golf Course and many others are within 3 miles of the property. We have many outstanding restaurants within walking distance.When staying at the Super 8 Mundelein you will enjoy our free continental breakfast together with coffee tea and juice and free high speed Internet and complimentary newspapers each morning. A typical leisure resort hotel, located in the suburbs, next to the golf course, tree-lined, many foreigners hold engagement ceremonies, weddings, party parties, weddings that meet elite Indians, wonderful, National Day holiday and It’s really good to have a synchronized flower garden in Washington and New York. The atmosphere and cooking of the restaurant are superb, the key is the price, the price is very affordable, great.

We are currently staying here while I make this review. This is our 5th day here. We have 2 rooms. It’s clean and tidy, pool is not heated which is a bummer as kids love to swim but it’s snowing at this time even though it isn’t winter yet. Housekeeping is great, the ladies tried to speak english as I tried to speak Spanish. Breakfast was better than other hotels and the lady staff was very pleasant and attentive. The place is not in a busy area which we liked as my daughter’s daycare is just beside this hotel. The front desk person I spoke with though this afternoon needs training in customer service as his service was -meeeeeh. I asked him a question about looking at another room with connecting door, I got complete silence with him looking through printed papers... I waited in complete silence for him to acknowledge that he heard me but he just clicked on the keyboard making me guess if he heard me at all. I asked if he heard me and said,”yes, I’m checking the rooms.” It’s either he is really not a friendly and approachable person but he as a front liner should learn to have these customer service traits. I guess it’s not just me as my husband also noted it first day when he checked the rooms. We are moving to another hotel nearby anyway.

Decided to stay here last minute rather than risk violating Chicago’s curfew (9:00 p.m.). Reviewed their website before booking and was impressed by their protocol for addressing cleaning COVID-19 issues — touchless check in, etc. I booked online but directly with IHG (not through a third-party) and payed full price. Wearing a face covering, I at the property and found that none of the claims on their website re: COVID-19 protocols were true. No touchless checkin. Two women were working the small reception area — neither one wore a mask. And, although they had my information from my reservation / booking, they required me to fill out two forms while they were some two to three feet away. It was after 11:00 p.m. and searching another hotel at that hour presented other risks. So, I stayed — hoping for the best. Didn’t notice a single precaution in the room. I could go on but you get the point. As I walked into the lobby to check out the next morning (again, wearing a mask), I asked the woman working at reception what their policy was re: face coverings. She looked at and me and assured me that, yes, they were face coverings — as she pulled one from her face and put it on. NOTE: I am not writing this review to be critical of the individuals I encountered working at the property. They are trying to get by like everyone else. The problem here is that the policies advertised on the website either don’t exist or aren’t properly implemented / enforced.

Hotel is what you should expect from a Courtyard - clean rooms, clean Bistro, attentive staff. No waiting at the front desk for help, mobile check-in spot on (not all Marriotts have this down yet), and quick service at the Bistro. No elevator, but only a two-story location and they let you know that at check-in. All amenities in the room are clean and functional. Portillos right next door for quick eats also.

Great place to stay for the price. The room was clean and the breeds were very comfortable. Some of the rooms do not have hair dryers. I borrowed one from the front desk. He was very reluctant to loan us one but did. I returned it when we checked out. There are supposed to be refrigerators in some rooms but not the one I stayed in. I like that the floors were laminate and not carpet. Very affordable clean place. Restaurants near by and easy to find
