My partner and I had a wonderful time at Amantaka in December this year. The whole city has just bounced back from the pandemic so I had a little expectation when coming to Luang Prabang this year. However, everything at the resort was exceptional, from the moment we were greeted at the airport, to when we were warmly greeted by the members of staff as we arrive at the moment, and when we left the resort. The property was converted from a historic building but was very well maintained. It has a classic and subtle charm and feels very cosy and intimate. Don't forget to use the Bath House that with a private pool, steamed room and sauna. Thank you Amantaka team for exceptional hospitality and I will be back again!

It is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in over 30 years of travel. Without a doubt, the professional and charming staff helped a lot with the attention provided, and a service always above expectations. The facilities are impressive, nothing more beautiful than the central patio with the small pond and the garden, as well as the large common pool area, a 10! The breakfast has a high quality, a lot of variety on offer and they are always willing to prepare a more filling dish for you. The toast with avocado and poached egg is recommended, a great way to start the day. We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days. They should improve the Wi-Fi connection in that area of ​​the hotel, given that we were barely able to connect in the room during the days we stayed. Having to work at some point, this represented a problem, which I quickly forgot with a dip in the pool. Thank you to all the staff for your extraordinary work.

The staff were lovely and always greeted you with a smile. The pool area and gardens were well maintained. The rooms were a little dated and although nothing wrong with them I think I would opt to stay in one of the small hotels or villas along the nam khan next time rather than this little extra out of the centre. Breakfast choices were good with a nice non sugary muesli, milk & yoghurt, nice cafe latte and an egg station plus toast, croissants and Asia stir-fry dishes. They had free bikes you could use, although I didn't see any helmets. As noted, for what we paid it was 'ok'.

The environment is good, by the river and in the old city! The bed and breakfast style mattresses run by Vietnamese are not very hygienic. The mattresses are collapsed and there is no protective pad to put the sheets directly on the mattress. Thinking about how many people have slept there😂, it is hard to talk about the service of bed and breakfasts. 😂. Breakfast is nothing to talk about, but it’s okay if you deal with it 😂.

I I would also love to mention that the younger brother of the owner who I must say was also extremely helpful and always kind and considerate to consistently ask and assure that I Always had everything that I needed at any given time, I and I mean 24 hours 7 days a week. I go honestly never write reviews. But I could not allow myself to leave this wonderful place without at least giving the common courtesy to mention how truly enjoyable my experience has been at Silikhane guest house in luang prabang Laos.

The Pumalin was the perfect place to locate within walking distance of the night market, near great coffee shops and restaurants and less than a block from the Mekong. Located on Saiffron Coffee Alley. The staff were so helpful on every front, whether ordering transportation, giving directions or responding to needs at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was varied and fresh. I enjoyed the fresh juices. You can order special-cooked eggs and noodle soup as well. Coffee/tea, hot and cold water are available 24 hours. Very convenient.

I'm glad that the toilet and shower are separate. The room was clean and I liked the calming design with plenty of natural wood. The location is less than 5 minutes walk from the night market and about 100 meters from the Mekong River. It is located in a very convenient location in the center of the tourist area. I stayed for 3 nights in a newly renovated triple room. Spacious and best bathroom facilities. Good value for money. Better hotel than the picture! ㅎㅎㅎ If you book for 3 nights or more, you will receive several coupons. Quang City Waterfall Tour (free for 50,000 people), 1 hour free massage, 1 free saffron coffee. No breakfast, so I went to the nearby breakfast market and ate rice porridge and noodles. Big noodle shop is very delicious in the morning market. After 35,000 servings, you can have breakfast at the nearby Myrao Home Garden, which is so cold in December morning that we don't recommend eating at the garden.

For my last trip a year ago, I chose Luang Prabang. Giving alms in the early morning is the beginning of awakening Luang Prabang. The house is very stylish. I heard that it is the former residence of the old commander. The innkeeper is also very interesting. He is also Chinese, a young man from the Northeast, very cheerful. When you ask him about travel-related matters, he will explain and recommend it very patiently. He is also a ray of warm sunshine in a foreign land. The overall environment in the inn is also good, clean and tidy, and the infrastructure is complete and fully equipped. The service is very attentive and meticulous. My overall impression of Laos is also very good. I highly recommend everyone to come here to visit and stay here. The overall consumption level is actually low, and I have a lot of fun playing.
