overall is good, but when I stayed in room 1403 with a pillow that smelled bad or had never been dried in the sun, in Makassar we call it "bau kappang". The roomboy came to change the pillow, but in the end the smell remained the same. Information from the roomboy because the pillow is made of goose feathers, so there is such a smell. but the smell of the pillow is very uncomfortable to sleep, especially my wife is pregnant and very sharp smell. Overall, other than the things we said, the hotel is very comfortable and good. The service and other facilities of the hotel are very good.

I stayed here for a two-night transit in the city and I was curious to about this first Hyatt hotels in Makasar; the staff were genuinely friendly and never hesitated to ask if everything was comfortable during the stay; security, housekeeping, f&b staff, and managers did a good job. Overall, everything is great; rooms are designed beautifully, location is perfect and convenient. Something that could be improved is when you sit at the restaurant; guests shouldn’t need to wait to ask the staff for the menu and to make orders, as well as clearing up the used plates. Ordering drinks took a bit of time as well during the evening. I was facing trouble getting small money changes at the reception, which shouldn’t be a problem. The soundproofing in the room could be improved as well.

mention your last experience to the FO so they could capture your needs / expectation (hopefully). breakfast menu was so good & all the crew in charge was very help full. A cozy restaurant area makes me feel comfort to have a little talk with my family as well as to did some remote work.

Big and cozy room. Staff, cleanliness and services are excellent. This hotel offer many foods on their resto and also offer some Makassar's authentic foods. I stayed there for a week and trully enjoyed it. Definitely will go back here again!

I had my first business trip to Makassar and really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place. The room and bathroom were very clean, the interior design was impressive and the location was just nice. I wished I stayed longer.
