Just next to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, the hotel is very new, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very clean, everything in Maldives is so beautiful, it feels like being in paradise. The breakfast is very delicious and there are many types. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for vacation. Thank you for all team staffs. We are looking forward to come again.

My family and I were taken care of by Kishore, who was an exceptional host. He helped us from the moment we arrived until the day we departed, always making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The Hard Rock hotel is well equipped with everything one could desire on a family vacation. The swimming pool and beach have a great atmosphere frequently filled with music events and activities. The food is top notch and very diverse. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy from a wide range of activities, such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (highly recommended), weight training center, Zumba classes and more. We will definitely return for a second round of paradise.

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so welcome by so the staff. The resort itself is beautiful and kept really well. This is high quality resort with a very personalised touch. Shohel, our house keeper, made such a difference and was very courteous and thoughtful. We stayed for our anniversary and was met with such a beautiful display. The room was quite spacious as we stayed in an overwater villa and was quite private. The beautiful reefs are worth exploring. All the activities in the resort are so much fun and the staff make it much more enjoyable filling in any knowledge gaps and answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying as we’ve decided we’d love to come back in the future.

My wife and I honeymooned at Velassaru for 6 nights in early May, arranged through a local travel agent in Australia. We went for the Indulgence package and a beachside villa with plunge pool and the entire experience was excellent. The transfers to and from the airport were pre-arranged and seamless, and we were on the island with no fuss. Once there we were greeted and refeshed, then led to our lovely room, overlooking a beautiful turquoise ocean with reef break. The ocean colours really are something else, and this is coming from an Australian. The wife insisted on the plunge pool which of course turned out to be a brilliant decision. For me, it was about the food and drink. We ate at all of the restaurants, and every one provided excellent meals and the Indulgence package covered all of the basics so I could grab most of what I wanted when I wanted. I did spring for the lobster and some nice whisky though, at civilised prices subsidised through the package. I was very happy here. For my wife, she loved the ocean, and spent hours snorkelling / exploring out on the reef, or relaxing in the plunge pool with some music and a drink. I'll let her write the next bit. The snorkelling was out of this world, plenty of sharks, turtles, beautiful reef and coral nurseries with baby fish. I look forward to seeing all the happy and dedicated staff at Velassaru in the near future. Regarding the timing, we went early low season which is the local wet season, and this was fine. The weather was overall mostly sunny during the day, while riding out any late afternoon storms in the pool with a cocktail, or late night tempests in the warm plunge pool (also with a cocktail), was a great experience. Also regarding the timing, the resort was pretty quiet and here is where things truly shine. Without the high season pressure, we received immediate and pleasant attention and service from the staff. For our own honeymoon experience, we must particularly thank Salam and Imran, both of whom were engaging and ensured everything was on point, from them we received exceptional service, and more importantly, conversation. A special mention, and which for us will mark special memories, is Chef Wasantha and his personal attention during our stay. He visited our table during lunch on our first day and offered us whatever we liked, so my wife offered a challenge of tandoori lamb cutlets. Half an hour later, two plates were consumed, and chef continued to entertain requests over the next few days for whatever was asked. The hotel is right next to the beach, gorgeous sea view from the room. The hotel staff Amy, was friendly and ever ready to give the best recommendation for a few hour walk in male, from shopping to where to shop for souvenirs and she also recommended us to take a short ferry to villemale which only cost less than $1 to and fro from Male jetty to the island. Great advice that just keep our time worth staying in Amber beach hotel.

Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. The bathroom is particularly clean and there is no odor. This alone is worth the price of admission. Service: For a hotel, the second most important thing is the convenience of transfer. Inform your next destination when you check in, and the hotel will take the initiative to contact you for pick-up and drop-off. And the hotel itself is on the artificial main stage, very close. You need to return to the airport island from here to transfer water and speedboat, and you will be there in 10 minutes. Taking the initiative to carry luggage and so on is considered a standard feature of Maldives. What was beyond expectation was that the breakfast area was small but had an unparalleled view. First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its services. It is true that the big brand is trustworthy. But this hotel is an unreliable hotel. If possible, go to another house. Near the airport, Paradise Island, Full Moon Island, or Bandos Island can be reached by speedboat. When I was picked up, I was asked to wait by the side. It costs $43 per person to go back and forth to Bandos. We recently stayed at Saii Lagoon, and I can't say enough about this place. The property is simply wonderful, and the staff is exceptional. We had a dreamy stay, and this was largely due to the kindness and efficiency of the staff. Yasser was particularly attentive and ensured our stay was most enjoyable. His availability, professionalism, and friendliness truly made a difference. I highly recommend Saii Lagoon to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in a beautiful setting with top-quality service.
