I arrived back from a wonderful 7 nights all inclusive stay at Akasha! WOW! Is all I can say, this hotel is asthetically insane, it is by far one of the most cleanest hotels I have ever visited, nothing is out of place. We recieved a complentary upgrade which was the perfect way to start off the holiday - We looked some of the other rooms we got offered but the one we chose just did it for us!! Food - Incredible, I love fresh food and the food at buffet resturants did not dissapoint, so much choice. Salads, Yum!! Cocktails are soooo good, PINA's were to die for!!! Staff - I have never been to Greece before but I think now it is my new favourite place and the people are some of the most friendliest, sweetest people I have ever met. We loved the guy who worked round the pool, very friendly and just a sweetheart nothing was too much trouble and he made putting the umbrellas up look like a breeze!! Hotel - As I said this hotel is stunning, it really is out of this world but I have a small gripe and that is the music they play around the pool in the mornings/afternoon - It is terrible! Considering it is a "vibe" hotel which is more geared up for the younger, I say younger but 25+ (I'm 35) the music is very poor, we arrived on 15th May and the music round the pool was great, good R&B and then it just changed to what I can probaly describe as supermarket music. There wasn't alot of entertainment on as such but the day before we left (21st May) there was a really good DJ on - Even though mid May is still early in the season, the music would just help a little for your customers visiting at this time - I know a few people did moan about it.. You have another beach bar right next door to the hotel with sunbeds and the music in there was great BUT you don't want to have to leave such a stunning hotel for good music but it was BAD!! There is plenty of places to sunbathe at this hotel but round the pool seemed to be the favourite, maybe because of the music again .. We tried the beach, the music was poor more geared up for the 50+ (sorry) and then the music on the rooftop wasn't much better either!!
