Hotel Majestic Mamaia

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Honestly, that was enough. Arrived to find parking at the hotel is, how shall I say this?? Difficult!!! The car park is small and rammed. The only way to park is to block another car in and leave your keys at reception. Who knows who will move your car after that. I ended up parking on the main car park on the front at 96 lei per day. The room was small and dated. Had ants running all over the floor. Bathroom was put together by stevie wonder!!! It was not pleasant. The aircon condenser is on the balcony. When it's running2 star it blows hot air all over you. With the temp being 27c already, the added heat made it unbearable. The food, well twice I ate there and twice regretted it. Last meal there was limited choice. Chicken on the bone, fish or polenta. That was it. Pretty poor choice if I'm honest. I ended up going over to the bar across the street to eat instead. I suppose for a 3 star hotel it is just about acceptable. Barely. View it more like a 2 star and then you won't be disappointed, as I was. I have a philosophy in life. If a hotel has to promote itself as wonderful in its name, it usually isn't. The Hotel Majestic is no exception to this.
