This was our second time visiting Türkiye, having previously been in October 2015. This time we went with our 6 year old son his first holiday abroad. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 2pm we were greeted by a very friendly reception team, unfortunately can’t recall any of their names but they were all very friendly and welcoming. We was provided our wrist bands and told to go and grab lunch while they dealt with checkin which we thought was a nice touch. We had a quick look but decided we weren’t all that hungry having eaten on the plane. We returned to reception where our room cards and towel cards were ready for us. We had a room on the ground floor (4108). It was relatively quiet and tucked out the way which was nice. The room could have done with a little lick of paint maybe. But otherwise in good order. The housekeeping team were amazing always keeping the room clean and restocking the inclusive mini bar (soft drinks). We had a very big double bed and a single ‘put up’ bed for our 6 year old. All comfortable. My only real criticism would be the air con which was locked to 24 degrees. Having said that we never felt the need to raise it with reception so couldn’t have been to bed. All the team here, from waiting staff to bar staff couldn’t do enough for you all very friendly and helpful. I’ve seen some comments about the English not receiving good service, I’m not sure how people can come to that conclusion. You have to remember you’re in a foreign country where the native language obviously isn’t English. Perhaps make some effort to learn some basic Turkish instead of criticising the staff for not speaking perfect English. I want to give a special shout out to Ercan from the outside bar who was always exceptional in service and chats. Anther shout out to Sahadet from the inside bar again she was always exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both of them made the best cocktails and deserve special mention a bonus for their service. Onto the waiting staff although all of them were exceptional a special mention must go to the very tall guy with glasses and his catchphrase‘you’re welcome’. I’m so sorry I didn’t make a note of your name. The food was always of good quality and an exceptional amount of choice each day. All cooked to good quality and plenty of it. It must be good as we’ve booked to come back next year.

What a wonderful hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Dj Samet and gorgeous Devran were exceptional. Reception, bar and staff and dining room staff are also brilliant. There were only a few British families at the hotel but communication wasn't a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon.

We stayed a fortnight at the Tui Blue Xanthe and loved our time there. The most memorable aspect was the very wide choice of food at every meal. For vegetarians the hotel offered the most options of any all-inclusive hotel we've been to. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Our room was comfortable, although the balcony was small. The hotel has its own section of the beach with sun beds and a beach bar. Side has a surprising amount of Roman remains which we enjoyed visiting. Whilst we were there most of the guests were from young football teams but this wasn't a problem.

Loved our stay at Tui Blue Xanthe!! Had perfect weather, one day it hit 30c!!😅 Hotel was modern and very secure with a security barrier at the end of the pathway to the main road so felt safe. Lovely flowers/plants and greenery all around. Free safe to use and WiFi which worked well in all areas..even the beach! Room: Nice size for 2 people, bed quite firm but we like this so it was comfortable for us with good pillows, towels were of good quality. Mini fridge didn't work at all but i didn't bother to complain as we always got a fresh drink to take back to the room from The Bar. Water pressure and temperature was perfect. Air con was centrally set at 28c!? Literally blew out warm air which wasn't ideal in 23-30c heat throughout the week, could not adjust the temp so I did complain about this at reception but it wasn't really dealt with, so just kepted our balcony door open. Can hear everything from the corridors..kids crying in their roo...early morning risers, I noticed that are big gaps at the bottom of the doors (something needs to be done) as it was ridiculous. Maids were lovely and cleaned our rooms daily, fresh towels and cute art work with Pjs and blankets! Food/drink: Wow I was quite impressed with the food on offer here, my favourite being the donner meat! Daughter loved the spag bol and had we lots of lovely bread loaves to try. Breakfast was good and I didn't miss the English sausage and bacon at all. All colleague's were lovely and friendly in the buffet restaurant. I did feel that I had to wait a while to get offered a drink and most times it was me catching their attention to ask for one at dinner. They had amazing homemade waffles served between 3-4pm outside near the pool with an array of toppings/ice cream to chose from. Beach bar food was fresh and tasty, cocktails weren't the best from here ..I found Ercan made the best cocktails at the pool bar! (such a lovely friendly guy) a credit to the hotel, speaks very good English. Pool/beach: inflatables were allowed here, main pool was cold but refreshing when it was so hot!! My daughter loved the hammocks so spent most of our time on them, I just pulled up a sunbed next to it. I could also watch her on the slides which were great fun! Life guards were friendly. Love love love the fact that the beach is a short stroll from the hotel grounds, a beautiful sandy beach and the sea is quite shallow and actually warm! Animation team were all lovely, we played a game of killer darts. Evening Entertainment was ok, had live bands on 3 nights which were ok but i personally prefer shows. (maybe a games show/magicans) Colombian dance night was the best show!! Just Amazing! Never tried the spa but it did look lovely., could exchange your free towels as often as you wanted here. We had cake biscuits and coffee from the Café which again was spot on. I took lira and sterling to Turkey and they accepted both. Bazzars/restaurants are priced in Euros but when paying on card they con

Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely hotel. We have had such an amazing time, and I truly can't believe some of the poor reviews on here; they can't be about the same hotel!! We stayed as a family of 6, 3 adults / 3 children, across 3 rooms. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, modern, bright, and calming. We all had double/ twin rooms, each of which was modern. Housekeeping service was one of the best we have had; my room was turned down each day, fresh towels, tea/coffee replenished, and mini fridge restocked with water and soft drinks. The room always smelt beautiful, too. We did need to change rooms after a few nights as had noisy neighbours on both sides (only gripe us walls are paper thin!!) But this was resolved in 24 hours. Lots a sunloughers and hammocks to utilise, never had to do a sunlounger dash! Pools are beautiful 😍 so modern and inviting. We did spend our time at the Olympic pool as this was quiet, but kids used the slides most days, which were lots of fun. The lifeguards were great and friendly. Ecran at the pool bar is amazing, always smiling, remembered our 2 coffees and bottle of water! He gas great dad jokes, too. Food at this hotel is great. Would have loved more Turkish food! This was divine, especially the baclava. We all found something we liked. Beach bar was fantastic for lunch too... Yes, this hotel has primarily been geared more towards German / Russian guest however this was never a problem. Some staff do speak basic English but google translates and a few laughs got us through. Another mention is Devran from the Animation team. So friendly and made an effort to speak to each day and make sure we were happy. Even came to say goodbye when we left.. We had a great stay.. test of a good holiday is if we would come back... absolutely, keep up the great work Tui Blue Xanthe 💙

Brilliant holiday from start to finish. We bought the beautiful weather with us all week 🙂 The hotel its self is a really modern and chic design. With 2 bars, 1 one the ground floor near the reception and the other in the basement near the main restaurant, doctors office and the photograph place. (On the same floor there is a al a carte restaurant called culinarium) which is free the first time and €20 after each new visit. We downloaded the tui blue app which gave all the information needed like opening times, what entertainment is on and the times for them too. Its really handy. The staff are lovely and hard working, making sure our stay was brilliant and memorable ❤️ we took Turkish lira and the hotels (and shops out side) mostly accepted euros. We went to a local exchange shop in the mall near the hotel and changed our money, which was a lot easier. Of course the accept Turkish lira but the shops on the outside and in the hotel too, heavily push the euro. Choice is yours. The tui blue app said that the hotel does exchange but when I asked one time they said no the didn't. The pools, food, entertainment and the big slides where amazing and so much fun. The food was nice and hot and good variation each and everyday. My friend fell in love with pistachio cake and ice cream haha. The beach was amazing with a snack bar between 12 - 3.30 offering like a sit down meal style experience which was good. The tui rep that visited the hotel was insightful and very helpful. She help with a problem we had of a wrong booking we didn't book. In the end the problem was sorted. Brilliant. Overall the experience was brilliant, great company. Amazing memories, great hotel, staff who brought a smile to our faces.

We have just returned home from a week stay here at the Xanthe, and despite a few initial teething problems with the room (rectified in 24 hours) we did not want to leave. It is the staff that make this hotel. Each and every interaction was warm, friendly and professional. Yes, most guests are European, rather than British, but even when staff could not communicate fully in English, we got by with Google to translate and a few laughs. (Auto correct did have its problems.) it also helped that we attempted some basic Turkish- we were in Turkey after all. Ercan at the bar was fantastic. He remembered our drinks, kept us laughing with jokes and was a pleasure to be around. The entertainment team kept us informed about darts, shows and offered to assist. There was a lovely young Turkish animator who always came to say hello every day and ask how the children were doing. Think his name was Dervin ? (Apologies if this is wrong!) also promoting shows, entertainment and activities for the whole family. He was excellent with guests and engaged with everyone. My little one played darts (coming second much to his delight.) and was invited to the kids club- but he chose not to. Aliriza in the buffet restaurant ensured we had excellent service every evening- he’s a credit to the team. Food was varied and we loved the Turkish themed night. The bbq grill outside provided fresh meats and fish. There was always something new on offer, with chefs who checked availability. There was also a vegan section too. The slides and beach bar were a god send- always room and sunbeds on offer, As well As hammocks. WiFi was excellent everywhere in the hotel. The mall was a short stroll away and it was only a short taxi ride to see Apollo’s Temple and ruins, with reception organising a taxi for around 15 euro each way. This is well worth a visit. The true test for a review to me is whether I would return and stay again, the answer is a definite YES. Keep doing what you are doing Xanthe. We loved you. I’m so Upset that we can’t book for next year at Easter as Tui haven’t released this !
