From the welcome to checkout All staff was looked after us very well and beach Access on off key feature on this property, food was delicious , rooms are clean ,and beach Bar also very nice in the evening Me and my friends will plan to come back again .

Convenient location by the beach, Beautiful Scenery Good Food Rooms are spacious with all amenities provided Friendly Staff Value for Money Easy access to the main roadways Wildlife underwater was very diverse including Turtles and various Reef Fish, perfect for Snorkeling enthusiasts

Very nice beach hotel close to beaches. Have this own swimming pool. Cafe and eating place near reception. Two store main building. No dislikes. Like everything. Kind staff. Very tasty and nice brekfast. Hotel offers transfer and taxi to the city too.

The hotel is conveniently adjacent to the beach. The rooms are surprisingly quite affordable for the area. The family and I enjoyed the amazing pool that they had. Best part of this hotel is that the beach bar is located right opposite near to the beach, away from the hotel which means families can really enjoy without being worried. Food is brilliant, with them offering Sri Lankan, Italian and Western food. Staff is always friendly and very hospitable. Thank you Rumesh for everything during our stay.

Everything was nice , we enjoyed a lot at the reef garden hotel and sepcially Mr Ramal was very kind and helpfull and the staff is also friendly nice breakfast also served in the morning . They took a good care of us .

Very friendly staff. Rooms are a little bit outdated but very clean and with airco. Very helpful staff: provided us with alternative power plugs and installed wifi router even in our room for best coverage. The view to the beach (just across the street) is very nice. Two nice and good restaurants just across the street and snorkeling activities with many sea turtles and fish in the sea within 100m. Serves both local and continental breakfast. Large swimming pool in the garden (towels provided).

Good Rooms , Food & Service . On the Beach in Polhena , Matara . There are rooms , Studio Units & a Hostel too in one complex with a Large Pool / Kids Pool / Restaurant call " Essa Mirissa " & a Bar Call " Matara Bar " Must Try Crab Curry with Rice & Dhall Curry .

I went to Polhena Reef Garden last Saturday, April 15th, for dinner. The experience was truly delightful, with the food being absolutely amazing and the location being very appealing. What made it even more special was that my parents-in-law had their wedding at Polhena Reef Garden back in 1975, and they mentioned that the service and quality of food have remained consistent over the years. It was heartwarming to see that the place held sentimental value for them. We had a fantastic time, and one of the added bonuses was that Polhena Reef Garden is conveniently located within walking distance to Polhena beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful beach after dinner. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking a relaxed and enjoyable time in Matara, Sri Lanka.

Reef Garden has been a lovely experience with excellent food, clean and pleasant rooms with all required amenities. The highlight of this property is its fantastic beach with white sand, and an incredible array of marine life. This is the perfect destination for snorkeling and exploring the colourful and mesmerising treasures of the sea. Kids will absolutely love all these aspects including the large kiddies pool.The service was warm and friendly and overall it was a satisfying and comfortable experience. Will definitely come back.
