Stayed for 10 days during Chris**as and love it. Great staff and food, try the curry and tuna. They really take good care of you. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach, you can even see tortoises when snorkeling. Really recommend this small and cozy place.

We ve spend 5 fabulous nights at la Maison d ete and everything was just perfect. The staff is wonderful always smiling and ready to help. The beds are very comfortable The food is very good everything is a la carte and plentiful.There are some dishes that have a surcharge so it was à little more expensive than we expected to pay as we were on a half board basis. The setting is excellent the beach is clean . The snorkelling is not amazing but there are still a few fishes. The hotel arranges some day trips to the market on wednesday free of charge and other activités. I highly recommend this hotel

Our holiday here exceeded all expectations thanks to the high service level, attentive and friendly attitude of the staff. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were pleased with the availability of all amenities and the beautiful view from the window. The room was cleaned very thoroughly every day and we always returned to a fresh and comfortable environment. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the La Maison D'Été Hotel in Mauritius, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the cozy and welcoming a**osphere of the hotel made us feel right at home. The entire staff, from the front desk to the gardeners, greeted us with genuine, warm smiles that gave us the feeling of being part of a family. During our stay, I had a minor incident where I hurt myself, but the care and attention the staff showed me was truly remarkable. They ensured I received the necessary medical attention and followed up with me regularly, making me feel valued and important to them. I want to give special recognition to a few members of the staff who made our experience truly special. Yasir, a true professional and gentleman, was a pleasure to deal with. Marie, whom I see as a future successful facility manager, delivered exceptional customer service to us and all the guests around us in the most seamless and timely manner. Raj, the "Picasso of the house," Fugain, Elstila, and Dinash, with their amazing natural smiles that made us feel served with love, all contributed to creating an unforgettable stay. I must also mention Miss. Juliana, the staff member who provided me with an extraordinary and professional welcoming massage, which is an experience I look forward to repeating on my next visit. in other words, every staff member from the CEO to the gardener meets you with an amazing smile and is ready to provide you with the best service possible. Typically, I avoid revisiting the same place twice. Still, the level of service and attention we received at La Maison D'Été Hotel has convinced me to plan a return visit during a better season. This hotel has truly set a new standard for us, and we cannot wait to experience their hospitality again. Despite the amazing food experience provided by the hotel's talented chefs, who delighted us with a remarkable variety of flavorful and high-quality dishes, one area that could be improved is the booking and pricing structure. While I chose the "FULL BOARD" option, the additional charges that were not included in the original price were nearly 400 euros for my week-long stay. This increase in costs I don't mind if It was planned for earlier. To enhance the guest experience, it would be beneficial for the hotel to consider including more of these supplementary charges, such as taxes, service fees, and any other mandatory costs, within the base room rate. This would provide a more transparent and all-inclusive pricing structure, allowing visitors to better plan and budget for their stay. By addressing this aspect of the hotel's offerings, La Maison D'Été could further solidify its position as a premier destination, ensuring that the exceptional culinary experience is matched by a seamless and straightforward booking and payment process. I have a reservation at this hotel and have transferred the payment to their bank account. Four weeks later I am still waiting for confirmation that they have received my money and that my February reservation is indeed in place.

We had an amazing time at Maison d’Ete with my wife and 1-year-old baby. The hotel is intimate with limited number of rooms which makes it an ideal place to relax and be able to be at the pool or the beach without any disturbing noise. We had a superior room with direct access to the pool, this was ideal. The restaurant was really good with a very kind and flexible Chef (Radjkumar). We had specific dietary requirements and the chef always find a way to make us happy. Thanks again for that. Last but not least, all the staff was so welcoming, kind and ready to help for anything. Special thanks to : Fugain, Anais, Estella, Yashir, Abhi, Nancy, Vimi, Reema, Dinesh, Minesh, Akilesh, Nivesh, Selven and Radjkumar. This hotel would not accept credit cards for the booking, insisting on a foreign exchange transfer. My dealer had the money at the hotel's bank within 48 hours but I then had to wait over four weeks for confirmation from the hotel that they had the money for our room and half board package. Upon checkout I was then shocked to find we were charged almost MUR3,000 more when we checked out. I asked why and was not given a good explanation, just that it was extra to cover the full room charge. Is it that the money transfer had not covered the full cost? I transferred the sum requested. If so, why were we not told there was going to be an extra charge before this? I did not want to cause a scene so I emailed the hotel and Newmark management after we left asking for an explanation - no reply! While it was not a major extra sum of money, it would buy a cheap hotel room night in Europe. A guesthouse that does not accept credit card payments until guests are on site and then it charges more than the fee agreed? I find it all very dubious. We were also shocked at the extra charges for so many of the dinner dishes. Just two starters included in the half board package. Some of the extra charges were ridiculous – we have had good lobster and other seafood dishes cheaper at quality restaurants in London. Other extra charges were pretty outrageous, such as that for the steak and turf special. All in all, we felt the hotel was trying to gouge every last MUR out of guests that it could. It certainly left a very bad taste in our mouths. On the positive side, the breakfasts are excellent; we enjoyed the complimentary massage and the staff are a very friendly and helpful group. We travel widely (Mauritius is my 82nd country) and often stay at boutique hotels. In our experience, this establishment falls very far short on value. And, I have never encountered such a cavalier attitude to room payments. My trust had been challenged by the money transfer fiasco. That extra charge really made me wonder about Maison d’Ete/Newmark. We will certainly not be returning and will not be recommending Maison d’Ete or Newmark to anyone, in fact quite the opposite. This was the most expensive of five hotels we stayed at in Mauritius and was far and away the worst value.

Séjour du 5 au 7 mai 2024. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le cadre est magnifique, le personnel est au petit soin. La décoration est soignée. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et cocooning. Kavish au bar est un passionné, très agréable et ses cocktails excellents. Le massage de Julianna a été un moment hors du temps! Raj au resto très serviable. Le restaurant est excellent on s’est régalé que ce soit au petit déjeuner ou repas du soir. Mention spéciale au pancake et à la salade de bœufs en entrée !
