The Rustic Inn

Excellent stay at this hotel it was fantastic people made us feel friendly. The place was very clean and we enjoyed it all. We will be coming again probably next year in the winter. It was a lovely trip and this place was the cherry on top of the cake

Pros: the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Check in was easy, there was plenty of parking. (Check in room was so weird: just a table and computer in a bare room -- perhaps they are remodeling? ) Cons: The photos on this site and on the website are not accurate. There is no microwave and very little furniture in the room - no futon couch, no luggage rack, no extra pillows or blankets. It was bare minimum. The surprise was the "beside lights." Our room had two huge kitchen style flourescent lights above the beds, not lamps like you see in the pictures. Who could read by those? There is a bar-style table and bar stools under the window instead of a table and chairs. The place is extremely funky. The window air conditioners are noisy and if you open the window it's on a main street so there's lots of street noise. There is no fan in the room. The staircase up to the second floor is see through (I suppose for snow days) and hard to walk down. I would not stay here again; would choose the hotel downtown or the place across the road.
