This B&B is a hidden treasure and Jocelyn the owner is so kind, down to earth and makes you feel right at home. It is so peaceful with a lovely pond where you can enjoy the birds as you watch the sun go down. Our large room was quiet, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Jocelyn gave us great recommendations for restaurants, bakeries and areas for scenic drives. We can’t wait to return this summer. It was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jocelyn for your hospitality and we feel like we made a friend.

I recently stayed at Heathcote Haven with friends and used it as a home base as we tackled three portions of the Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail. I stayed in the spacious Valleyview Suite with a comfortable king bed, soaker tub and separate shower, mini fridge and large screen tv. Our rooms were located on the second floor of the home which provided us with privacy. Not that we wouldn't have enjoyed sharing our stories with Jocelyn who, in my opinion, is the perfect host. So friendly and accommodating but also left us to enjoy our time on our own. The rooms are very clean and the breakfasts were hearty. Thornbury is a short drive away which provided us with dinner on the two nights. I would highly recommend Heathcote Haven to Bruce Trail hikers or for anyone looking for a comfortable B&B, hosted by a most warm and welcoming (with a great sense of humor) host.
