Meare Manor

We had an absolute fantastic time staying here our hosts sue and Graham were honestly such lovely people we has a lovely room tea coffee facilities comfortable bed and a really nice large balcony looking out over the Somerset levels The Manor is very homely and we felt very very welcome Graham and sue provide such a fantastic breakfast fantastic fruit salad lovely coffee local apple juice lovely full English We also had the smoked haddock with poached eggs We wouldn't hesitate to stay at meare manor again 4 nights for us wasn't enough loads to do in this area Glastonbury cheddar Wookey hole we just didn't want to leave Keep up your fantastic work Graham and sue 👏 👍

We had a really great stay! Lovely location, rooms, and breakfast. Even after checkout Graham went above and beyond with helping us when our car tyre got a puncture - so a massive thank you from us!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meare Manor. Sue and Graham, the owners, welcomed us warmly and were most pleasant hosts. Our breakfast was exceptional and delicious; far better than most hotels and guest houses. We would highly recommend Meare Manor if you visit the Glastonbury area.

The best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel and I have stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels around the world. The beds were really comfortable and the white Egyptian cotton bedding was fresh and clean adding to the comfort of the bed. Graham and his wife Sue couldn't do enough for us. I highly recommend this Hotel even though its looking a little worn out the place is clean and the service and hospitality second to none.

My friend and I stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is lovely and clean, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Plus my friend was able to take her dog. Nothing seemed too much trouble, our hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. The breakfast was awesome. Plenty of places to park and a short drive from a decent pub (The Duck at Burtle). Would highly recommend if visiting Glastonbury, but you do need your own transport.

Lovely staff and the breakfast was really great (haven't such a great fruit salad in a long time!) The B&B has a nice garden for our dog although it was raining too much for us to really have the opportunity to enjoy it.

We chose Meare Manor as a location which would give us easy access to many places we wanted to explore. It proved to be a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Manor. Graham and Sue were great hosts and we immediately settled into this little gem. Sue’s breakfasts were delicious and the service was great. The room was spacious and comfortable and if we were to make a criticism it would be that the shower wasn’t very powerful. If asked would we stay at the Manor agin the answer would be a resounding YES.

A very interesting property, nice welcome from the owners, room was pretty - sadly shower was faulty but there was plenty of hot water for a bath. (Owners offered to fix but as we were only there one night we declined). Hadn't appreciated on booking that the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but had a great meal about 15 minutes drive away at The Sheppey. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and on hot plates.
