We stayed here and had our meetings in the day and wandering around in the afternoon and evening. Great location. Lobby, lounge area and rooms are nice and simple, good service including house keeping. No restaurant of bar in the hotel however there is one down stairs and all round. (McDonalds 200 feet away...) They have a nice breakfast buffet too.

Absolutely perfect service. Laura, Gloria, and Victor at the front desk are really nice and accomodating. Always willing to help and friendly. Daimer was always available in the lobby to help with bags, or luggage, or laundry.... Rooms are super comfortable. Pool and gym are good, sauna/turco are a nice addition that other hotels are missing. I had the pleasure of meeting Diego, the manager and he is one of the nicest people I have met. It feels like they really care about your stay and want to make sure you are enjoying everything. Perfect location near the mall. Everything was great and I will be back again soon.

This was a great choice to stay 5 nights in Medellin. The hotel has it all. Location, clean, good food, Service, A.C. comfortable bed, the gallery on the 15 floor to relax while enjoying a drink or a bit to eat. Staff very helpful and professional. There is no doubt, on my next visit to Medellin, Novelty Suite will be a first choice. Highly recommended.

From the time I arrived at the door I received immediate attention and quality customer service from John who greeted me as I approached the entrance. I felt truly welcomed, everything I needed to know was explained thoroughly and the check-in process was quick. I was offered a refreshing beverage and I was assisted with my bag as John escorted me to my room. I very impressed and as I entered the spacious suite, The kitchen was clean and well equipmed. The bed linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The balcony overlook the parking lot where you can here the birds singing in the trees. My first impression was that I had made a good choice....but then... When I opened the bathroom door my enthusiasm for choosing this hotel began to dissipate. There was a very strong smell of soap scum coming from the shower and the shower tiles had a yellow buildup from not being cleaned properly over time. I am not usual one who complains about a stray hair here or there because this could have shed from the housekeeper as they go about their difficult and time restrictive lduties. However, this bathroom had long hairs on the floor, in the shower, on the toilet paper holder, and even in the toilet which had a paper band taped over it to signal it had been cleaned. There were short hairs on the faucet handles and spigot as if someone had shaved and these areas were not cleaned afterwards. This was a bit disappointing because everything else seemed so good up to this point, but the shortcuts taken by housekeeping in the area I need to be the cleanest reduced my overall satisfaction greatly. The staff in the restaurant were very kind and patient with my limited ability to speak Spanish. They were attentive during the meal and wished me a good day as I departed. Breakfast was OK, no frills. At check out, I had to wait for housekeeping to check the minibar and inspect the room which, as a frequent traveler, I had not experienced before. Not a big issue but I kind of felt like a child waiting for my mom to see if my room is clean before being allowed to go out and play. Just something to keep in mind if you are used to dropping your key and exiting without delay. Give yourself extra time in case housekeepting takes a while to get to your room. I thought I had paid through booking and the clerk mentioned nothing at checkout, but when I returned home, I received an invoice from the hotel. I wish I would have been asked to pay while on site or warned that I should expect this email because I don't read Spanish and the email came from a company with a different name so I almost marked it as junk. The billing site is also in Spanish so not easy for me to figurer out. The good things about this place are really good. If they can provide better training/oversight for housekeeping and get buy-in from them since they can truly make or break the experience for clients, it would make a huge difference.
