Very good location, excellent terrace, but let down by the food. We were pleasantly surprised to see few tables occupied, but seems the restaurant is not so popular. We ordered the surprise starter but explicitly asked for one portion between the two of us, we actually asked the waitress twice that she had understood. We were charged two full portions. The starter was pretty strange, with cooked foi gras type liver on raw pumpkin, tuna fish which seemed a little raw, salmon and beetroot mixture and bland unseasoned cous cous. Parma ham was the only nice part.Too much starter and not very nice. This was followed by Wiener Schnitzel. The meat was soft and wet like it was soaked in fat, it was thick, served with anchovy fillets - very odd and not very pleasant combination. The chips were frozen scoop style. Service was really good and attentive. After we indicated that we had not enjoyed the meal, the main courses were removed from the bill which was really appreciated. So in summary a great location, good service but really disappointing food.

My son chose this restaurant because it was nice to sit there - even with shade. In contrast to the restaurants on the promenade, where you squish like sardines in a can and the passers-by constantly stare into your plate. The service was attentive and quick. The food - a steak and the salmon dumplings tasted excellent. The prices usual for tourist strongholds.

The location of the hotel right on the lake is very nice. We ate on the terrace. Nice view of the lake. The food was delicious. There was something for everyone. However, the service is questionable. The service staff stands around on the terrace and overlooks the empty glasses of the guests. Presumably they are enjoying the view of the lake.

Very nice, completely renovated hotel in a fantastic location right on the lake. Nice spacious rooms, very clean. Lots of filing space in the bathroom! Great outdoor facilities. Service is extremely friendly (only the bar has room for improvement. The extensive breakfast with, for example, egg, sausage and cheese salad, antipasti, eggs in mayonnaise, fresh pretzels, smoked mackerel, sweet pastries, and omelettes and French toasts should be highlighted. .. gladly again at any time!

We only went to the restaurant for dinner. A visual highlight, inside and out - a really beautiful beer garden right on the lake. But the service still has some homework to do! We had a starter and a main course (that was all good too) - and treated ourselves to an aperitif beforehand. It was empty when the starter came - no request if we would like something else to drink. The service walked past our table three or four more times, also saw the empty glasses, but still no demand. Then came the main course, champagne glasses were put aside for reasons of space (it's also ok), but still no one asked if we would like to drink something else. I then pointed out to the waiter who brought the food that we would like to order wine with the meal - but then it got weird. Instead of taking the wine order, we were told that he would have to send a colleague, which then took another 10 minutes. It's still a young team - I think that the processes will hopefully settle in. We'll see that next year.

Hotel and rooms very well maintained, everything looks quite new. Nice room with lake view. Good facilities nice bathroom. Given these first nice impressions, a bit disappointed with the breakfast buffet. At 10:00 the buffet is no longer at a nice level. Many things are not updated, although a lot of people are still present and coming. The whole breakfast buffet seems a bit unimaginative to me. Relative standard for the overnight prices.

Wir waren als Paar unterwegs und machten einen Tagesausflug in Meersburg. Haben ein schönes Plätzchen zum Abendessen gesucht und sind auf der traumhaften Terrasse gesessen. Der Kellner war sehr bemüht um uns und machte einen richtig guten Job. Sehr kundenfreundlich! Essen war super lecker.

Perfektes Preis Leistungsverhältnis mit einem wirklich tollen Frühstück Buffet. Unser Zimmer war modern und gross sowie neu hergerichtet. Die Betten waren bequem und das Personal sehr nett. Auf Wunsch wurden zum Frühstück frische Eierspeisen zubereitet. Alles wie es sein soll. Wir werden wieder kommen.
