My wife and I had a lovely two-week holiday at HG Jardin de Menorca. Everything about our trip was perfect (hats off to Jet2 Holidays too). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke good English and tolerated my attempts at speaking Spanish. Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the hotel, including our room and even the pool area. We stayed in a Superior Junior Suite, room 2A101. It had everything that we could need, including UK TV channels (sometimes there was some flickering but nothing to get fussed about), hob, fridge, microwave etc. The room was very clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed. Loads of hanging space and room for all your stuff. It was cleaned every day, including new towels. The shower was great, tons of hot water and great pressure. We had a good view over the pool area, and sometimes sat there just watching the world go by. The grounds were immaculate with grass areas all round the pool and lovely palm trees everywhere. The pool area was well laid out with lots of loungers and parasols. There was a lifeguard on duty all day, every day too. We stayed B/B and the breakfast was superb. A good mix of cereals, all sorts of breads (including a toaster), hams, cheeses, jams and coffee machines. Also a great range of hot stuff including a chef making eggs and bacon dishes. We ate at the hotel bar area (just next to the pool) a few times. It was great, with a mix of salads, burgers and local dishes. Everything we had was well presented and reasonable value. We had thunderstorms on a couple of days so we made use of the Fitness Room – a treadmill, stepper, cycle with multigym and free weights – everything you could need. We used the free local shuttle minibus a few times too: down and back to the beach area in Son Bou. We always booked to make sure we got a seat, and everything worked well. There is a well-stocked supermarket within the hotel complex and we found everything that we needed. Overall, we had a great time at the hotel. We would definitely go back: we couldn’t fault it at all.

The unbeatable location since it is located in the center of the island and allows you to move everywhere in a short time. On the last day, as you have to leave the hotel in the morning, they give you the option to store your bags and take a shower if you have a flight in the afternoon/evening.

We have chosen this hotel for its geographical location, design and the commendable Google Note/commentary about the establishment and its host staff. During our stay, we have seen and appreciated all the positive points raised by other vacationers. The hotel is in line with the various photos you can find, the cleanliness in the room and in the common places (swimming pool, etc.) is perfect. The following two points have exceeded our expectations in terms of benefits : - Quality breakfast with different proposals every morning. - The reception. A careful, always joyful and sensitive staff to the wellness of its residents. He was able to make our stay in another dimension through his addresses of places to visit and his restaurants (we went to El Chivito, Martin was not home but his brothers :-) very kind too ). A great thankfulness also to the other man at the reception who welcomed us when we arrived (I don't know his name, unfortunately, but he will recognize himself). Sympathic and empathic in particular to the independent concern of the hotel we have met (leasing vehicle ...) . We will remember it for a long time and try to return to it.
