"We stayed for one week at Hotel Mercure in Millau at the end of April 2026. We booked a privilege room with view of the viaduct on the 8th floor. The room was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed including kettle, coffee machine and mini fridge. The room had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table with excellent view of the village and the viaduct. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The staff on reception went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Especially Chanelle who was very helpful in giving us tips on where to eat and visit and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was continental with cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, then different cheeses to try and various bread and croissants, yogurts and fruits. Plenty of choice. You could make your own drinks from the machine and boil or fry your own eggs. We booked a car park space next to the hotel that could be accessed through a security door which cost €17 euros a day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"I find the Ibis hotel in Millau outdated compared to the ones I'm used to (Ibis and Novotel in Tours). Furthermore, the reception desk is located at a small table in the entrance. It feels like walking into a very old hotel. On the plus side, the staff is very professional and friendly."

There was a confusion with our billing which was eventually well handled by the manageress. "This a really nice Huttopia site. Alt he usual things we like about Huttopia like games, clean well kept facilities, very helpful staff and shady pitches. However across the river is a party site and I am writing this at after 1 am and the music is still full volume. I can hear everything and I have earplugs in. It is terrible. If you want to party then come, otherwise book elsewhere. You’ll thank me."
