Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort

A new, well-equipped hotel. Long queue for breakfast. Not something you'd expect from a 5-star hotel, hope they improve!

It's a new hotel so it's very clean. The customer service was polite and I had a very comfortable stay. However, since it is a new hotel, there are not many restaurants in or around the hotel. It's perfect if you want to relax at the hotel, but if you want to eat at a local restaurant, you'll need to take a taxi or rent a car.

I spent the 2024 Spring Festival at the Miyakojima Hilton Hotel. The environment was beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were very rich and had Okinawa characteristics. The weather was a bit cold during this period and I didn’t go to the sea. But I could see the Irasanbu Bridge from the balcony and it was so comfortable.

The hotel is very good in every aspect. The suites are large, clean, comfortable and soundproofed. The sea view is also great.

The hotel is new, and the rooms are relatively large (compared to other hotels in Japan). The sea view rooms have a balcony and the view is unparalleled. The disadvantage is that the location is a bit remote. The hotel facilities are not yet completed. There is a construction site in front of the door. The decoration in the room is very smelly. The buffet The price-performance ratio is average. Japanese people cook more exquisitely, the dishes are very attentive, and the ingredients are very fresh, but the variety is relatively small and not so rich. It was February when we went there, and the gym and swimming pool were not open. Only one of the two restaurants was open, with almost no service, but the room price was not reduced...

The hotel is very new, the rooms are large, the facilities are complete, and it feels very comfortable. The balcony faces Irabu Bridge and Irabu Island, offering a beautiful sunset view. There is a construction site next to the hotel. It is said to be the second phase of the hotel. It will be more beautiful after it is completed. Walking eastward from the hotel along the coast, there is a beautiful beach. Continue walking for ten minutes to the public market, which is the largest street market on the island. There are many restaurants where you can taste local specialties.

The hotel is in a great location and the scenery is picturesque! When we came to the rooftop platform, we could see "Miyako blue" everywhere and the Irabu Bridge lying across the Pacific Ocean. The hotel service is warm and the breakfast quality is very good!

On the morning of the second day, there was a waiting time and the reception desk was a bit hectic, and I was given the wrong name and it seemed like it was a Hilton Gold member, so I was given a good seat, but I felt sorry for that person. is. I've used Hilton many times, but I'm not the type to accumulate points or memberships, but I could tell from the difference in the seats I was given on the third day that it was clearly different. On the third day, there were two small dead cockroaches at my feet when I was in the morning. I lost my appetite and could hardly eat anything. I think it can't be helped since it's only been open for a while, but when you pass through the reception desk, there are strict separations between those who greet you and those who don't. I have too many bad memories this time... I feel very sad. I don't think I will go to Miyakojima Hilton anymore, but I have been using Hilton for a long time, including overseas, and I would like to see improvements.

It's no big deal at all. In particular, the interior decoration of the room doesn't seem to have been done well, and the amenities aren't good either. The people at the reception seemed like they were not used to the place.
