We decide to stay here one night at the end of December! We book the apartment on the ground floor so our kid does not disturb (it would not and did not disturb) if it is to go out so many times a day. The first night they call us saying they moved us to a top place because we had children next door, they ask us to do that, we do not understand the reason but agree. The apartment on the first floor is nice, except that in 2022 I don't know how to make a choice, but it's right! At the check in gentle staff, though the lady fled, said, “I expected a smaller dog” (no one asked for the size and measurement of the dog). During breakfast a beautiful cat turns around the tables, so it is impossible to have breakfast with your dog under the table, but sure this is our problem! High price, but it will be December! Fine.

Greatly and centrally located near lots of places to eat, have a drink and visit. Parking outside wasn’t too complicated, just find a spot and pay. When we got there we only found one employee who couldn’t speak English and was a bit difficult to check in but regardless he was very nice, helpful and serviceable. He also helped us with figuring out how the parking worked. Room and bathroom were nice and spacious though the mini fridge didn’t really seemed to work. Other than that I pile stay again if I were in the area.

Quaint hotel with cozy comfort. I am diabetic so breakfast was a challenge. There were many pastries, meats, and fruit. Dining alfresco was lovely. There is a pool, and it seemed dogs were allowed in the rooms. If you are an opera fan on Tuesday evenings in September and October there is a concert at the hotel, 20 euros. They sand the most favorite arias and some Neapolitan songs.

I spent two nights at the Tuscany Inn in October 2023 because I wanted to see if it was suitable for hosting 50-60 relatives between the December holidays. Yes, it is very suitable. This hotel is really recommendable: modern, very clean, spacious rooms, excellent conference rooms with IT infrastructure, delicious Tuscan cuisine, right next to the motorway exit, 400m from the train station, parking on the roof terrace, free access to the fitness centre, a few minutes walk from the centre. It is rounded off by extremely friendly and competent staff. Bright, large quiet rooms, even on the side of the Lucca - Firenze railway line as it only runs during the day. Very clean room. Gastronomy : 9 out of 10 points, an excellent rating for a hotel. Last but not least, the prices are right.

BEWARE if you are booked this hotel on a tour. Ours was with TANGNEY TOURS. I was with a pilgrimage group - 28 in all. While the hotel itself was good enough - I have NEVER eaten such TERRIBLE food. For our two nights, the dinners were worse than are served in prisons. Chickpeas and pasta - masquerading as a Tuscan soup - utterly flavourless as it came only in its cooking water. A slab of overcooked spinach and circles of processed turkey meat was the entire main course. I asked for the vegetarian option - with my spinach came two 'patties' - one ? sweet potato? and one - spinach. The second night I received two spinach patties, dried up and not even warm. My complaints to the hotel have been received with 'well, food is such a personal choice'. It was quite obvious that this group booking was an opportunity for the hotel to make a lot of profit by feeding us the cheapest and most labour saving meal. To add insult, we had to walk through a part of the dining room where a conference were being served what appeared very good food. My complaint to the tour company has just been 'put on hold'.

My husband and I stayed here with our teen sons in the next room. We enjoyed staying here! In no particular order its strengths are: location, quality breakfast; really nice staff, very clean and has comfortable mattresses.
