Easy to find and not far from Montepulciano so great for a one night stopover. Friendly staff both at check in and for breakfast. Room a little dated but with large balcony facing what looked like a large swimming pool (November). Wifi and TV worked well in the room. There was a large party/conference on during our one night stay so we could hear the dining room noise from our room. Some noise also during the night. As with most Italian hotels/apartments etc you can hear conversations/toilet flushing/laughter/lifts/kids etc through the walls! Breakfast was Covid served (you point to what you want and its put on a tray for you) and was adequate for us. Coffee, sweet pastries, cereal, fruit etc. Overall a good stop over point on our trip around Tuscany.

We had our wedding here from 30th June - 1st July. We booked the venue more than 2.5 years in advance and worked with Antonella throughout the entire process. She was amazing to work with and highly recommend having a wedding at the borgo! We rented out the entire property exclusively for ourselves & guests for the weekend. The grounds are so beautiful with views from the entire borgo. The rooms are also very nice with a rustic Tuscan feel. Antonella and the entire Borgo staff worked with us to make our wedding weekend perfect. Last minute, we had to change the dinner location due to rain, and the staff was quick to rearrange all of the tables to inside. I had guests coming up to me saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We will be returning to the Borgo for our anniversary!

The concept is to renovate village houses into hotel rooms while providing breakfast and other amenities in another building. The rooms were nice, not great, but I still loved the concept. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the ”Palazzo” a few hundred meters away on a semi-covered outdoor patio. Breakfast was excellent but in late September it can feel like camping out. Shivering while sipping your coffee is not quite a luxury experience. We were here on a bike tour. We have toured throughout Europe and many times in Italy. This is the very first hotel I have ever encountered which charges to store bikes in a garage: 5 euros per bike per night. We were there for 6 days. I could understand if we had e-bikes that needed to be plugged into a power source, but ours were just leaned against the wall - for 5 euros each per night. Also be aware that the pool is off limits unless you are staying in the Palazzo. And the nice outdoor patio, you can only use it if you buy drinks from the bar. Lastly the staff at the front desk were thoroughly disagreeable. It was as if they didn't understand that we were the guests and their job was to welcome and assist us, not that we asked for much more than room keys. Having said that, the restaurant staff were gracious, friendly and accommodating. Again, I loved the concept, but the execution needs some work. Would I stay here again? Nope.

Structure in the historic centre of Pienza, from an old monastery, service and top-top reception, should only be equipped with some rooms with a 4-star accessory (kit courtesy, But for the rest, it is a nice place. The swimming pool with a wonderful view, a restaurant with customer service and care at the highest levels (good to all the boys and the owner) even if used for a dish, a fantastic breakfast with so many local products. I booked a classic room, not in the main building, But the website did not explain this situation, and the other rooms in the main building are more beautiful, and it feels more advanced, it feels like a hotel. The classic room type is like a homestay, unlike the feeling of a hotel. It is a few steps away from the main building. There are two rooms in the classic room type. There is a public living room. It has to share the living room part with the guests in another room. Although the living room is basically not used... But it is not the feeling of a five-star four-star hotel at all. Although the hotel staff is courteous and the service is very good, I feel not satisfied with this room here, and I don’t attach expectations, because it seems to live in B&B. The room is clean, Breakfast to walk to the main building of the hotel opposite the place, not in the main building, but very close... Among them, the photo is to go up the stairs to enter the room after the door, and the public living room is outside the door. Lock the door is to pull the key out and put the key position (the electricity will be completely turned off), you can lock the door, lock it, and then put the door key back in place.

Loved the idyllic landscape and old world architecture. The staff were friendly and helpful with information. The place seems remote surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, although the town of Sinalunga is just a few minutes drive away. A car is recommended. Towns of Pienza and Montepulciano are only 20-25 minutes drive. The place is in a different world, and that is part of its charm. The reception and rooms are quite spread out, so it will not be a typical hotel experience where you roll your luggage into the elevators or have ice machines down the hall. For me that, that made it even more special, but maybe not for those who prefer a little more western style convenience. That being said, the facilities are surprisingly modern.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. We were a very large family for our sons wedding. Accommodations were wonderful staff was excellent and we booked ahead for group dinners each night and they were excellent. Great service by car and bus to the wedding location. This hotel I believe is family run and they were terrific to us. We highly recommend. The location is great to see the Val d'Orcia and the Thermal Baths of Chianciano, wine tasting and much more.

Once we arrived at the property, we were greeted by Giuseppe, the owner and Bertina, the manager. Both were so kind and welcoming and we were told to relax! We got settled into our room with king sized bed and updated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. The breakfast was included each day and included a nice variety of eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffee, espresso, cappucino, juices, etc. We went on a wine tour throughout the countryside to Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza -highly recommend this tour. We learned so much about wines from our tour guide, Giuseppe. We purchased wines from each winery, including Santo Pietro and they arranged to ship them to our home for us. Spend some time in one or all of these villages! The next day we went on a truffle hunt at the property followed by a cooking class. Both were delightful and enjoyable activities. The restaurant has great farm to table food. The staff is very professional and most were English-speaking. I cannot say enough about Giuseppe and Bertina-they went above and beyond for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible! Sorry we didn't stay longer here because we had booked further time in Rome. We would highly recommend Tenuta Santo Pietro and hope to return there again someday!
