The Baymont in Montgomery, Alabama may not be the prettiest hotel you've ever seen from the lobby area, or the most updated, but the inviting, clean, updated large rooms have vinyl floors/tile which I prefer over carpets. The newer beds are much more comfortable than a more expensive, well known hotel I stayed at in another city. I travel with two small dogs, and the pet fee was very affordable, plus the ground floor rooms have easy access to the back, well-lit parking area with lots of well cared for grass to walk your pet. The room includes all the amenities, such as a fridge and even a full sized ironing board and iron. Another plus is that it is a non-smoking hotel. I would most definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

Enjoyed my stay. I stop when I travel through, and I haven’t been disappointed. The price is not too expensive and the rooms are clean and quiet. I would recommend to a friend if they are traveling to Montgomery in the near future. Great place!

Baymont was a fairly good choice , the property was clean however the room was dated. The stayed in a room with two beds, although the room was clean it could use an update. There was a low table that the coffee maker was placed on in the "living area". Amenities were on hand, and their breakfast is a paper bag with a banana, fruit bar, muffin, and a box of juice. I did like the foyer with all the plants surrounding the entire area that are enclosed with a glass roof.

Read the other reviews before we booked. So I'll start by this there were no bugs, whatsoever. The owners must be in the process of updating things. Thus the tile isn't exactly right on the bathroom flooring. But it was new and clean. The design of where the TV is located, in the bedroom area leaves a lot of "do nothing"in the sitting area. So you can't watch TV from anywhere other then bed.
Breakfast is simply a brown bag with Muffins, granola bar, fresh fruit and a juice drink. So no sit-down breakfast..

Hotel garden area was beautiful room was very clean and spacious bed very comfortable staff very nice and a lot of place nearby to eat and shop definitely will stay again when in the area

Other than the extremely slow to close elevator (which they are working on getting fixed) this place was great. They have a courtyard in side the hotel lobby which is absolutely gorgeous and are renovating the breakfast area. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was super nice, we couldn't figure out our hot water and the front desk man came up and got it going for us. We will be staying there again when we go back to Montgomery.

In all fairness we booked later in the day and had limited choices. With that being said…this room needs some work and it needs a few things. The bed was comfortable and it was a two room suite with a jetted tub. It was very strange to not have a door on the bathroom or some kind of shower curtain. I get it was a soaker tub but it was weird to take a shower without something to cover your area. The tub had water in it when we got to the room. Yuk! The plug-in in the bathroom did not work. The base of the tub needs work. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Suggestion would be for staff to walk around as a visitor and make a list of items that need repair as there is a lot that needs to be done. Probably would not choose this hotel again.

This property would definitely be a -0/10. First of all the man the at the counter did not give me my change back and told me that I would get it at check out, check out comes and now they have to re watch the cameras to make sure he didn’t give me change and that he would call me. That’s a big inconvenience because if I’m checking out then that means I’m leaving the city. Second , the room was dirty as hell ! There were rose petals around the bed that I did not have and the floor look like it hasn’t been swept or mopped in weeks. I informed the front desk and told them to clean my room and all they did was push the rose petals behind the bed. Shower takes months just to drain etc. this hotel is horrible and should be shut down immediately.

Our stay was good, bed was comfortable and clean room very clean. Only complaint was blind on window did not offer enough darkness from lights outside at night. I would stay again.
