Hotel & Spa Carré Saint-Louis

Great hotel located in an excellent neighborhood, close to any good area when you want to discover Montreal. Room was clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Air conditioning working very well for the summer heat. Breakfast very convenient (For those searching a lot of choices will be deceived, but we’re very happy with the proposed food). Great rooftop!!

The room is nice, clean and roomy, but the heavy thick quilt is really uncomfortable. What’s more, the air conditioner can’t cool this big room effectively.

Very nice small boutique hotel, conveniently located and easy access to near the public transit. Room was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. Staffs were courteous and informative. We enjoyed our one night stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

This hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

Location and room are nice.

Our room was awesome. Clean, spacious, little kitchen. Hotel was lovely and a great location to bars, restaurants and cafes

Clean room, good breakfast, room not in the same part of the hotel as the spa section, so I had to go outside to get to the breakfast room

The hotel’s location is very convenient and easily accessible to nearby subway stations, which made getting around the city simple. However, our check-in experience could have been better. When we entered the room, it was not yet ready—the sheets were not fitted, garbage had not been taken out, and the bathroom towels were left on the floor. We informed the receptionist and were asked to wait about 30 minutes for housekeeping to prepare the room. Breakfast was okay, though fairly average and could benefit from more variety or quality. Overall, the stay was decent, but improving room readiness at check-in would greatly enhance the guest experience.
